The space is great and unlike anything else downtown. The food is unique and great especially for the area. Really enjoy coming for happy hour and getting little bites. The cocktails are always great, though a little pricy. They have about 5 drafts usually on but the past few times weve been in its been the same beers from the same breweries(all local Couv brews). Wish they mixed it up more. Service is usually a tad slow but always friendly.

Absolutely the best bar in town, everything from the drinks, the service, to the atmosphere is on point. I love getting thier dealers choice non-alcoholic cocktail because they actually create something special every time, and its always delicious. I just wish they would bring back weekend brunch! It was the best not having to go to Portland for a great breakfast on the weekends.

There are lots of great cocktails on the menu with a daily punch offered. I had the daily punch, which was a blackberry, ginger, and rum drink. It was fairly syrupy, needing a little club soda to cut it down, but it had great flavor after that. I didnt have the chance to try the food but the menu was extensive for a bar and other peoples dishes looked great.

Freaking awesome. Playing an LP. An LP!!!! Small batch Seattle Bourbon- well done, the food is delicious but its the people that make it a Wonderful place to hang. Group meetings should be here. After-work gatherings were being conducted tables paway. We are solving the big problems at The Grocery Cocktails and Social. Well done.

Ive visited at least four times, we enjoy the ambience, food, and prices - however the past two visits - service has been slow with food & last Saturdays visit the beverage service was also shoddy - the server couldnt describe beverages to guests, and showed up with substitutions without our involvement. I hope they pull out of their funk.

came in on a whim because it reminded me of home. Visiting from Wisconsin, the grocery was excellent. Bartenders were fantastic, met the owner, could not have been nicer. Would recommend it to anybody who wants to find locally sourced drinks and an excellent atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it to my friends I live in the area

Finally a craft cocktail location in Vancouver! Hopefully this place survives if enough locals with taste find their way hear. (Regular Vancouver idiots stay away i.e. camo bros and aggro dudes) you cant find a much better cocktail in Vancouver, and if you think top shelf makes good cocktails then dont come here either

Im on a pretty restricted diet and found a few options I could have on the menu. And the meal was delicious! I definitely plan to go back. The ambiance reminded me of a McMenamins which I also liked. They were fairly busy and we had great service as well. All around great experience!

Its really nice inside. Cocktails were creative and crafty, with plenty of class. 4/5 stars because apparently they only source strictly local ingredients, which kind of gives a nativist vibe rather than a "local economy" ideal. Stick local but also dont limit yourself.

Went in with a shopping list of the essentials, like peanut butter and Triscuits. Due to a classic mixup, I was unable to get these things at this location - however, I was able to get enough great beer and social interaction to forget I needed them at all. 5 stars.

Very reasonable prices for what you get. The drinks are unique and imaginative, as well as delicious, the food is gourmet and well portioned, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is welcoming and nostalgia, its actually hard to leave.

The Grocery is the best thing to happen to this block of Vancouver in 20 years. The atmosphere is hip/trendy and the bar tenders really know there stuff. The griddle burger is amazing if you like the words Bacon Jam and cheeseburger together.

Only came here for whiskey. The variety is great! They are very good at guiding you to what is available and knowledgeable in the makers and the style. Ill have to try the food another time! If whiskey is your thing, this is your place!!

One of my favorite bars in downtown Vancouver! I love the vintage wood theme, and they make one of the best whiskey sours in town. The Grocery is the perfect bar to relax on a weekend evening and hold good conversation with friends.

Went in for a drink after dinner. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the bartender was amazing. We had a short conversation about what I typically drink and he whipped up something wonderful. Will definitely be going back.

Its not very big and the wait staff seems overworked. Make you order at the bar from upstairs. I get it if your ground level. But upstairs and having dinner, and have to go get my own drinks, no thank you

My favorite little bar in downtown. Drinks are delicious and interesting, and not expensive. Super nice and helpful staff, good food, and a nice, cozy atmosphere. Great for groups.

Yum! The lamb steak bites were so yummy. Atmosphere is portlandesque. Bartender Michael was friendly and knowledgeable and made a custom cocktail for my boyfriend. Well be back.

For a cocktail place I was unimpressed when I ordered an old fashioned. Just because theres a lot of booze in it doesnt make it good. Space is really nice and servers friendly.

Great drinks! Bloody Mary was awesome. Unique and delicious mushroom vodka with an amazing house made spicy tincture if you want. Bartender was very friendly and fast.
