I’m not sure what was worse, the actual wine itself or the phonies sitting around drinking it. I don’t proclaim to know very much about wine, but I know each and every sample I tasted was as close to appalling as you’re ever going to get. I’m not alone in my opinion, I had my trusty drinking partner with me and we weren’t sure what was worse… the cold unwelcoming reception from the staff (‘we don’t usually do tastings on a Friday and you’re blocking up the bar’), the taste of the god-awful wine OR the ingenious question from a member of staff ‘would you like us to open the wine for you and give you glasses? ….eh no I’ll open this bottle with my teeth and swig from the bottle thanks….doh!! In a nutshell, this winery is a polished up dog, looks the part, sounds the part, but the wine will leave you with sour grapes. It doesn’t deserve one star, save your money and go to a winery that serves wine!!

If you enjoy Pinot Noir then this is the place to go. The Pinot produced here is a little different than I was used to as it is not aged in oak barrels. It is very light, crisp and refreshing. Unlike other reviewers I found the staff very friendly and nice. I do wonder about the reviewer who said everything was awful but still bought a bottle and was surprised they asked if he wanted it opened??? How would they know if you were taking it with you or not if they didnt ask? Regardless, I enjoyed the place and will go back again. They need more white wines though!

Tasting room cozy and helpful staff will keep you busy tasting beautiful wines. Try their recent additions cider. They had three types to taste, however my favorite was the slightly hopped!! It was great. Many events through the year so check website to see current schedule. Outdoor seating available.
