The review about "destroying eagle habitat" is silly. Building permits are up to the county, and it is hardly excessive to remove one tree that threatens a building. Judge for yourself (and no, I have no connection to QC other than as a customer). As for the wine ... well, Quilceda Creek is one of the most heralded wineries in the country. If you care about Robert Parker ratings, they have multiple 100-point ratings -- more than anyone else in the US. And if you dont, then find a chance to taste for yourself. The facility is beautiful and one of the most meticulous wineries Ive ever seen. The downside is that its only open once a year, and thats by invitation to members of the allocation list. Find a friend whos on the list, and convince them to let you tag along!

This winery is destroying eagle habitat to expand their winery. They have cut down a tree that has an active eagles nest in it, when asked why they cut down the tree the owner said there was a chance that it could fall on his new building in a storm. This was a perfectly healthy 75 ft tree with an eagles nest in the top of it. I for one will not support a winery that considers itself more important than the ones around it.
