Not bad but nothing special. If you have lots of time and want to explore all wineries in the area stop in. If you want to do only the highlight continue on Glen Haven and go to Soquel. Tasting is 5 wines for $5 of the "regular" menu or a set $10 reserve tasting (I believe it was 5 wines as well). This winery has been around for too long for their own good. The staff seems to have a bit of an attitude and customer service is not their foremost concerns. The wine are decent but nothing special at all. They seem to have lost their zeal and purpose a while ago. The whole place seems a bit anachronistic. They are reasonably priced but still I dont see a lot of value. You can get wine by the glass for a pic nic. Patio in the back is ok but not spectacular. If you are just driving through the area on 1 this is just a few minutes away from the freeway in Soquel. If you like fruit wines you might find it interesting.

My favorite Bargetto wines are the Pinot Noirs and the Lavita. The Mt. Eden Clone Pinot Noir and Regan Vineyard/Reserve are some of the best produced in California, to my taste. They seem to peak once they are 4 to 6 years old. The Lavita also needs a few years of age and it turns into a well balanced lovely wine. Many of the wines poured in the tasting room have some tannin and need to be laid down for a few years.

Lovely location for a wedding. The tasting room is rustic and elegant, and right on a creek, so its a great location for photos.

Didnt really enjoy the younger man Skip behind the counter, but the owner was nice. They have a good Rosso.

A lot of interesting wines - perhaps just a bit too fruity for my palate.

The line up here included a nice pinot and interestingly, a Mead.
