Beautiful park with trails running through woods of tall tree and blackberry bushes. There is a refreshing fountain water play park for parents to bring their children to play, as well as 2 play equipment areas and 2 ball fields on either end of the park. Within the trails, you will find entrance to a lovely off leash dog park with a big dog run for your fur baby to get their running out. A little bit of everything for every member of your family as well as the beauty and calm of nature. Parking lots are also on either end of the park by the ball fields and another where the playground area is in the center. In the summer, a free lunch program for children is also provided with a community dental health truck present in the parking lot by the playground in the morning hours around 10.

Northacres Park has 2 great ball fields that also double as socket files, a off leash area for dogs that has great trails that are well maintained and fencing for separation so youre not having to chase your dog through the woods, just wonderful, and inaddition great barbecue stand/girls and tables for picnics, a great summer water area/ play area for children, great area sitting on a cement surrounding the play area and a great grassy mile around the water park toys for summer use, there is two parking lots one to the east of the park and one to the west. Limited in Street parking! The bathrooms on both sides of the park are well maintained, thank you Seattle Parks for such a great job!1

Just the right size, only a mile from my lair, and therere tables with grills in the shade far enough apart from each other so you can have a modicum of privacy. Enough forest trail for a leisurely stroll or a very unambitious jog or cycle and free parking. Also has one of those toddler water-parks with a few fountains and a splashy pool thats size-appropriate. Occasional shelter challenged individuals from time to time but never had a need to be alarmed. More than good enough for what its for, but not that much more; and THATS why I like it.

The ferns of North Acres Park always invoke powerful, yet somber, emotions from me. I learned how to be a man from the best friend I ever had there in the summer of 11. I still miss Rich to this day and Ill always regret the choices I made when I first came to Aurora, more than anything I wonder what we could have built if we sick together, because never in my life have I met a man who inspired me more than RLA.

I havent really visited this park, so Im limiting this review to discussing evenings at the park. I attempted to meet a friend at this park so our dogs could play at the dog park. It was early evening and completely dark. Not even the parking lots are lit. To make things more creepy, there were several cars in the parking lot, and each was occupied. Long story short, dont come here after the sun goes down.

Big open space with some brief walking trails, a playground with some water park-type apparatuses for those toddlers that need to cool off, and several picnic tables scattered around each with a free-standing charcoal grill for making hot dogs and smores and stuff. I live in walking distance so I cant speak much to the parking situation, but there is that there, too. Chill place, clean, pretty.

Love the dog park here. Its set up as a series of trails so my small terriers can explore a ton and not get harassed so much by the drooling slobber machines who want to play a bit too aggressively with them. The open area by the entry has good drainage, so the drooling slobber dogs and their owners can slobber as much as they want while my girls forage for vermins in the trails.

A great park and spray park for all ages. We like this spray park the best because theres different levels of water for those who want to get soaked or just get sprinkled. Then, when you get bored, the playground is just across the sidewalk! The lower parking lot is often open and only a short walk up to the facilities. Bathrooms available here.

The field turns into actual soup if it rains even a little, which is inconvenient. The water fountain also either never works or spits out orange, metallic water and is hence unusable. However, the park is conveniently located so that my schools ultimate team may practice there after school with no particular transportation hassle.

Dog park review only: Used to frequent daily during the week until prior steward left. Nice wooded trails near off leash. Off leash maintained by volunteers and is high volume some days. Plenty of wooded, natural setting trails and always pooper bags handy. Better than most of the eight off leash areas that I frequent.

This is our "neighborhood" park so we visit often. The spray park and playground are fantastic and a great draw for kids of any age! The lawns and trees are beautiful, and its a nice place to picnic for sure. I just sometimes feel there are creepy people hanging about, especially early in the morning and close to dusk.

Excellent play area with water features. Well designed, multi use play structures for both older and younger kids. Clean restrooms. Splash area designed for ease of use and conservation, simple push button activation, with enough complexity to keep kids from two to twelve interested for quite a while.

This park can get very popular in the summertime. It features multiple playgrounds and a water park for kids. There are plenty of picnic spots and baseball fields on the east side of the park. If the parking lot on 1st ave NE is full, you will find additional parking on 3rd ave NE.

Great neighborhood park with everything you need for the family! Not only is there an offleash dog area, but a water playground, sports field, bbq area, trails, you name it... and it is tucked into a hyper-local setting. Best kept secret in North Seattle.

Smaller park, but has great series of paths. Works like a maze for our dog. Dash loves chasing me through the maze as I try to lose him. Also very clean. The users do the best job of keeping the poop cleaned up.

Fun park that has a little of everything. Water fun, playground for little kids and older kids and some trails in the woods. There are no tables or benches to sit at near the playgrounds or water area.

We love coming to North Acres with our dog Doobie. Lots of great trails to walk on. Big enough to wear your pup out. Small enough to not get lost. Lots of trees for sunny day coverage.

Kind of small park. There is a wonderful childrens playground and a mini water fountain in which people can play in. It is well maintained but only has enough paths to stroll around in.
