Its an alright park. The grass can get dry and pokey since its in direct sunlight all day. It has a rocky beach and sand in the grass so definitely bring a towel to sit on! Theres a nice little park for kids to play, a volleyball court and quite a few barbeque pits to host larger parties of people. The lake its self is great being that other lakes in the area suffer from swimmers itch and algae blooms. Nicest lake in the area I think.

If youre looking for somewhere quiet to go this is not your place on warm summer days. This place is the go-to lake in the area. Its very crowded during nice weather. There are large grills to accommodate parties looking to cook. Theres an enclosed swimming area and a small area on the opposite end of the park thats good for fishing or just hanging out on a bench overlooking the water. The lake itself is great for kayaking in.

People were smoking weed, wtf I shouldve called the cops. Its legal but not in public places.. for the most part it is family friendly sad that summer is coming to an end. Swimmers itch doesnt seem to be as big a deal it was back in the day. Ive been coming here since a little girl always fun to sit and BBQ or hop in the lake for a bit.

Very nice park on the lake. Amenities include playground, bbqs, restrooms, and of course the lake. Swimming is top notch as only fishing boats are allowed and speed restrictions are enforced. Look to nearby Kitsap Lake if you are interested in boating.

Great place to swim in Kitsap, water is very clean and there are no power boats. The grass is missing but thats from all the ceder trees. Fun place to spend the day.

The local swimming hole. Crowded on hot days. Recommend bringing a floaty to move out beyond the swimmers for a relaxing day on the lake

Public fishing, swimming and picnicking with tables and grills( if the sun is out arrive early for a good spot). Public boat launch too.

Good swimming. Its nice that they offer life jackets for kids. Everytime I have been there it has been a little to loud of a crowd.

Favorite lake for open water swim training. Minimal boat traffic. Parking is free and lots of it. Bathrooms usually clean.

Great place to relax or fish or kayak. Good for family fun or picnics. Lots of free parking. Close to Green Mountain.

It is clean, free, but someone smeared poop on wall in womens handicap restroom. Could install a blow dryer.
