The Fremont Troll can be found under the north end of the George Washington Memorial Bridge (also known as the Aurora Bridge to Fremont locals). Downtown Fremont is known as "The Center of the Universe" requiring you set your watch/clock back 5 minutes upon arrival. After walking the quaint city streets with various retail shops, pubs, restaurants and distillery I recommend walking the short distance to the Fremont Troll. The troll is absolutely worth visiting especially with small kids who cant believe trolls actually do exist and this one doesnt even mind kids climbing his arms, shoulders, and head!! When visiting Fremont and Troll I recommend finding a place to park your car, get out your good sneakers or flip flops, and walk the entire Fremont area. UW isnt too far away so youll see a lot of the Universitys diverse student population. Best time to visit Fremont and Troll is during the annual "Summer Solstice Parade". 100s of naked bicyclists start the parade with eclectic and odd floats and participants following close behind. I highly recommend a visit to Fremont and Troll for anyone visiting the Seattle area.

Its something unique & different than most all "quick photo opp stops" a must see if you are in the Fremont area! The neighborhood is nice so no worries there, streets are small & on street parking makes them feel even smaller if you are in a full size SUV or truck but still navigable. Nice weather brings lots of people so getting a pic of your family alone with the troll may take some time & patience however people are generally aware of who was there first & it creates an order of sorts. Again its a must see local attraction if you are in the area, if warm weather Id plan to spend up to an hour total atleast(finding parking, the walk to troll & back to car + pic wait time & exploring around the troll) but you could be in & out of the area in as little as 10 min as well.

What is a proper visit to Seattle without seeing the Fremont Troll? Its definitely a staple attraction and is worth the adventure! It is yet another quirky thing about Seattle that you will love. There is no bad viewpoint of the Troll, he looks ridiculous (in the best way) from any angle! True to its name, it dwells directly under the beautiful George Washington Bridge. If youre driving from Seattle, you will have to take some weird U-turns to get to it. Also parking may be a bit hard to find, so beware of that! My advice is try to catch a visit on a weekday as there is significantly less people around so you wont have to take turns taking pictures.

If you come to Seattle you have to see the troll , get a picture by it. The troll is an iconic part of Seattles history, its also funny if you are a troll to get a pic by the troll! I was born and raised in Washington, I remember seeing the troll as a kid. I guess what makes it so cool, is the fact that it is a unique piece of art, which someone, obviously put, lots of effort into, making a pretty realistic--if I may add-- troll. Actually kinda of resembles that out of Lord of the Rings. Go Check it out, but dont expect something amazing....(Yes, I am trolling you)

I dont really know what to say about this. Its a giant troll under a freeway bridge. Theres honestly not much to do here except check it out and take pictures. Theres not a lot around either so you literally just go there, take your pics and leave. Unless you can think of something else to do... have a picnic...? Haha. There was also a lot of people around when I went. Lots of kids climbing and stuff. Overall, not much to do, but cool pic opt.

I was a little skeptical about going here at first (I mean, who cares about a troll sculpture under a bridge??). But we were in the area and decided to check it out. Im glad we did. Its not much but it speaks to the free-spirited feeling that the Seattle area has. It was a pretty impressive sculpture as well, complete with a real car in its hand. Not a long stop by any means but fun to take pictures and learn about the history of it.

Hmph, well...its a troll...under a bridge. Snap a picture, and youre good to go. As a tourist, I feel like you can just drive by. If I were a resident of the area, I would think the troll is pretty cool. I saw a neighborhood block party happening under the bridge right next to the troll. Thats something that doesnt happen anywhere else. Dont wear flip-flops. The ground is sandy, and it will get everywhere.

O bairro de Freemont é demais. Recomendo andar a rua inteira, passar pela estátua do Lenin e parar no Troll. Se gostar de cerveja é só descer a rua e ir na Freemont Brewery

This is a must see spot at some point when you live/visit in Seattle. The sculpture is striking and the view down the hill is impressive. Its all still on a public street so just dont be that gawking tourist standing in the middle of the street or that inconsiderate group of hipsters standing directly in front of the structure. Everyone wants a chance for an unobstructed view.

This is a fun enough tourist attraction. It is a bit away from other tourist things. It takes a min to find parking. You pretty much walk up look at it and take a pic. I would recommend visiting if you are already in the area or going to the area. On the plus side it shows the cool history of this part of the city and there are some killer places to eat and drink near by!

This is tourism at its best or worst that decision is yours. Its a big troll under a bridge. You need to go see it so you can say youve done it. Theres always people there climbing up and around the troll. Ive seen tour buses stop and let people out to take pictures. Ive only been there in the day and evening Im not sure how safe it is in the middle of the night.

I use to live in Fremont and I would pass the Troll everyday going into work. Im pretty use to seeing it, but every now and then I would see tourists, the look on their face was always one of slight awe. I guess its a landmark of how quirky Seattle is. Tourists beware, there is little to no parking, so youll have to walk a few blocks.

Such a cool sight, everyone living in the area or visiting should check it out. It looks like the Duck Tour stops by, so thats an option to tour the whole area. Gets busy, so dont expect to be the only one in your pictures. There is free street parking in the area, but it fills up fast. Dog friendly, but not much for them to do.
