Great reception staff, very quick introduction to the karts after the safety video. A little hard to hear the instructions with their loud music playing. Maximum number of drivers is 10 (staff didnt mention it but later found it on the website). We had six on the track and that was enough, wouldnt want to do it with any more drivers. We can see it getting crowded and slowing down your track time. Your "best lap time" can be affected by others on the track slowing you down or the track manager stopping the karts for a safety issue. Im sure if you were the only one on the track, your time would be faster . . . maybe drivers with the top times were alone or fewer drivers? No way to tell how many drivers were on the track at the time. NOTE: the number of laps they sell for a race is based on the fastest driver. In other words, You are still in a race so if you are slow, you get gypped the number of laps you complete which stinks since the length of your time on the track is based on the fastest driver completing the max number of laps first vs. how many actual laps you make. Three drivers in our group didnt complete all their laps: 12 laps (kids) or 14 laps (adults). They only completed 9 of 12, 11 of 12 (both kids) and 12 of 14 (adults). MARKETING SUGGESTION: Autobahn may want to offer drivers a type of "credit laps" to accumulate for a future race up to 12 or 14 (kids or adults) on any unused laps. Once the driver reaches it, they can get their "bonus" race. Not sure if you can give up your place in line before the race or if you have to go when they tell you but the next time we go if there are too many drivers, well wait it out until its less crowded. Performance report/race result printout you receive after the race is pretty cool. No pressure on the up sell.

I had an amazing first experience here. The Karts are fast (50 mph top speed) and the track is a little challenging. The races are thrilling and you need some racing expertise if you want the complete racing experience. The staff members were very accommodating and personable. There are only a select few improvements that can only make it better than it already is, such as longer races, wider front tires for better grip, and the ability to split the price of certain race packs among drivers. Other than that, it is a great place to spend some time with friends, family, or fellow employees. After each race, everyone gets their own printout of the race results that also gives the drivers their personalized performance report, which is pretty cool. The 3-Race Pack is the best one to purchase. The packs are reasonably priced compared to other Go-Kart places similar to the Autobahn. I would definitely spend a lot of time there if I lived close to one. P.S. You get to keep your head sock from the races!

Many carts are in poor functioning condition, staff are slow and dont seem to want to be there, wait was 3 hours when we got there. Still had fun karting, but was it worth 50 bucks? Maybe not. Update: Immediately after posting this the Speedway emailed me regarding my post, asking what went wrong, what karts were not in good shape, and if there was anything else they can do to help. I understand that this is typically just in an effort to get more 5 star ratings out of customers, and I will NOT do that, I will, however, increase my rating from 2 to 3 stars to reflect this high level of customer support they have given me, but it does not change the relatively poor experience I had when I was there.

Great place, but my son was a little bummed that he was a tall 12 year old and they said that he could only ride the junior karts on his birthday. He was really sad, as he was crying the way home and outside of the facility. We came back at 10:00 a.m. On Sunday, and the experience was significantly better. My son was still riding the junior karts, but at least he wasnt alone like on Thursday. I would recommend to let racers that almost couldnt fit in the junior karts get to ride the adult karts, as when we visited another go-kart facility, they let my son ride the adult karts, and it was a significantly better experience. Will come back!

It is a really fun place but the racers I met were unbelievable they were all extremely rude and I was getting numbed off of the track and into the safety bumbers and no one stopped them and when I decided to do the same thing I was yelled at and was given a warning and on top of that the guy controlling the carts and stoping People looked at them and ignored them when I was being pushing into the safety bumbers and I’m not trying to be rasict or anything but i ama not white and the people bumping me where all white and the conductor was also white so I’m sticking to my solid 3 stars

Really enjoyed my first experience with Autobahn Dulles (Sterling). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The track is long for an Autobahn location (lap times typically around 28-29 seconds) but still interesting. The new karts make sound trying to imitate an F1 car, but I found it distracting and a little irritating. Thankfully you can mute the kart sound on the little steering-wheel-mounted display. Ill definitely be returning to this Autobahn.

Bought three races on a Sunday around 2pm. There are no reserve times you just get in to the next race thats available. From what I saw it was 2 adult races followed by a children race which was around a 25 minute wait in between races which was the only negative aspect but I understand. Electric go-karts which have good acceleration. Would recommend. Good time.

Really enjoyable experience here, karts are fast but the reason I gave it 4 stars is because some karts wobbled a lot, I suspected the tires were uneven and the wobbling would get worse when cornering but other than that it was awesome!

Fun, price gouging, not allowed to share 5 pack. Manipulative marketing. Still fun though, best time would bring a group of 4-8 ppl and try to get the track to yourself.

Best place to go racing got around the circuit within 27.5 seconds depending on your racing line. Had a great time and I definitely recommend this place.
