I like walking here sometimes used to go more but go to Shenandoah more now - not too much dog poop in the park but used to walk here from my house but got tired of all the dog poop along the way so dont walk to the park any more - If I go to this park I drive there. Theres some nice hills and a pond. Ive walked here when there was snow and it was real nice. I did a 6k here once and beat a 70 year old man when I was 47. One young girl just barely managed to pass me at the end. I think I could have beaten her but I didnt want to hurt myself and figured it might help her self esteem if she beat me which she kinda seemed to want to.

Sherando Park is a wonderful small park for a short walk through the woods, by the water, or both. There are also playing fields for multiple sports, swing sets for the kids, shelters for picnics, and even leisure and competitive swimming in the summer. Its a nice setup.

This park has a great playground for the kids with a swings, climbing walls, several slides and a three story tower. They even have benches in the shade for the parents and picnic tables close by to enjoy lunch or dinner.

Park is immaculately cared for. The childrens equipment is top notch. There is something for everyone at this park. Playgrounds, walking trail, cycling trail, MTB trail, Disc Golf, RC airplanes.

Sports fields, a pool, a lake, many paths for walking, and three play areas for the kiddos. There are also plenty of picnic tables and shelters.

Great park. Could use more shade along the walking path on the north side, along with a few benches along the way

Love this park. We run on the many trails here. Also like watching the turtles in the lake.

Great disc golf course in the trees and a great open area to throw the frisbee for the dog.
