I have played this course too many times to count. Very unique course. When in good shape, it is one of the best courses in VA. Front nine is very tight and rewards precise shot making. Fairways snake through the woods and elevation changes dramatically. Greens on the front are challenging. The back nine opens up and feels a bit more like a links course. Greens are flatter on the back, EXCEPT the 18th green.... What a devil of a green that one is. Back nine is consistently easier than the front. Good course.

Incredible value at $40. Course was in great shape from tee to green. Not incredibly challenging, but if you dont hit the fairway, you will lose balls. Greens are tight, but long - most having 3 distinct tiers.
