*Updated Review: After a not so good experience the first time around, the Assistant Golf Pro, Bryant Boshard reached out to me apologizing for the lack of professionalism the course showed that day. I was invited back out to the course in hopes to change my mind about my initial experience. I was able to enjoy a stress free round of golf which was both fun and relaxing. I was hopeful that someone would reach out to me but I was ultimately surprised when I got a phone call from Bryant. For these reasons, I am changing my rating to four stars. If it wasnt for my initial experience, I would give them five stars. I would still like to see a more friendly staff on point of contact in the clubhouse. Many of us dont play golf on a regular basis and want to feel comfortable around course employees. I would like to feel as if they want me to come back to their course again and again. The course played tough because of the conditions but its a fun & simple course for your average weekend warrior. The fairways are wide and open which allows you to drive the ball care free. The greens were also in much better shape than the last time I played. *Original Review: Very disappointed in my experience at The Ridge. My brother and I went to play since they had a shorter wait time than any other course in the valley. First of all, they would not honor the discount from the PGA players book and made us pay full price even though they said we could use the discount over the phone. Secondly, I asked the older gentlemen in the clubhouse if I we could play as a two-some which he said was fine at first. Not two minutes later, he calls us out on the first tee grouped with another pair of golfers. I went and spoke with him again and he told us to just wait around for a bit which was fine with us. We then went out to our carts and the golfers we were grouped with told us to go ahead of them since they wanted to play alone as well. The course was fairly empty by the way. So we tee off and by the time we reach the green, the older gentlemen from the pro shop comes riding up to us in his golf cart telling us that we broke the rules. He told us that we were kicked off and that he would refund us our money all because we didnt wait for his call. I was completely shocked that they would rather lose our business rather than just let us play.

Great and fun new layout. Not too long, but still enjoyable and challenging. Great practice area that includes a huge putting green, dedicated chipping green and awesome driving range. The club house is very nice with multiple TVs showing various sporting events. The pro shop has a wonderful variety of merchandise for both men and women. The food is spectacular in The Grille and is worth showing up early or sticking around after the round for. There is a beautiful banquet facility on the top level that hosts weddings, tournament lunches and various other special events. Check this place out, its a hidden gem on the West Bench of the Salt Lake Valley!!!!

I give it a 3 because they dont let people walk on after 4 on mens league days. Im sitting here looking at the number one tee which theyre not letting anybody play on so theyre just losing money. How does it make any sense to shut a course down for a mens league that only has maybe three handfuls of members. Food here is excellent the young guy running the pro shop this my second time having dealt with him all I gotta say is moron. Ps Ive been coming here for years. Repeat business counts for what? Pic below is an empty box for who knows how long. Management is questionable allow a public course to basically shut down to the bublic.

Charges handicap a ride along fee. I am a quadriplegic and confined to a power wheelchair. Unfortunately I cannot golf, and not by choice. If I could golf I certainly would. I try and come out and enjoy rooting my father on. I spent $200 at this course for a pass that allows my father to get a discount. I bought it for him because its not always easy to take me out. He has to lift me into the cart and take care of me while golfing. I have been to many courses with him and have never been charged a ride along fee. The course doesnt advertise the fee on their website or anywhere else we could see. They are petty.

Westridge was my home course growing up so I was excited to play. The re-design looks amazing. Beautiful scenery and awesome views throughout. Unfortunately thats all I can give positive marks for. The course is not ready for play IMO. Most of the fairways and some greens play like cement. Lots of irrigation issues. The first cut of the rough is clumpy like you were hitting balls out of the front yard of your house. Overall lots of work to do. The design is amazing, and I will play at The Ridge often once they fix these issues.

Pretty solid course for the price you pay with their players card. Only complaint I would say are the inconsistent greens. Some days a few of them run quick while others will run horribly slow. Makes it tough to get comfortable while putting. Lots of slow play here, but recently the marshalls have been trying to increase pace of play so maybe rounds will stay closer to 5 hours and not have so many 6 hour rounds.

I love the elevated tee boxes on the par 3s. The water feature on #13 makes it one of my favorite holes. The course is getting in better shape every year. This one is a little tough to walk but can be done. The Ridge and Stonebridges players pass is a hard deal to pass up. This course does tend to be pretty windy. It feels like cheating when you have a wedge in your hand on your second shot into #4.

The new layout of the course plays well, It is a shorter course now though I believe, than the old course. A couple very reachable par 4s. But who does not like an eagle now and then anyway.... The staff is hit and miss, but all courses are.. Love the course though, always one of the go toos for a good round.

Great course, great price, $23 for 9 holes & a cart. The service was simply ok. I know they arent there to put on a show, song, & dance, but you should at the very least be friendly with your customers, which they were not. The course is looking very rough, lots of dry spots on the fairways & greens.

The food here is great! Im not much of a golfer but I loved the food! Except, they forgot the bacon on all of our burgers. We didnt say anything so it was really our fault we missed out on the delicious bacon. But besides that, no problems!
