I wont be going back, but I love this place. The inside and outside are exactly what Id like. I would wish to add a roof terrace with more outdoor seating, but thats not a fault at this point. What i dont like, and is common at most small shops are their merchant account tactics to try to get people to purchase over their $5 limit. If you bring cash, this isnt a problem, so be sure to. Otherwise, they dont want to run your card for less than $5. I remind them, Square exists, as does Intuits new swipe tool, and PayPal now has one. Its not difficult, unless your goal instead of serving what people want is to get $5 from every customer, every time.

Local, small, hole-in-the-wall spot well worth going out of your way to visit. Whether you get it to go or stay there, you can tell by the loyal regulars here that theyre doing things right. Ive had a number of espresso drinks from here and they never disappoint! Great mochas, Americanos, and a fun menu of various other espresso creations are offered here, along with chocolate, pastries, and other delectable goodies. Sit outside or inside, and people watch as you sip your awesome drink. This is a favorite spot in SLC for sure!

For a niche place with good food, they sure seem to not like people who dress in business casual attire, which I have to wear for work. I felt very unwelcome there, by both a staring patron and the barista, whose smile and nice attitude faded when I went to order. The girl making pastries was very nice, but the barista did not treat me like the previous customer even though I was just looking at the menus and pastries. I guess I have to dress like a granola or hipster to feel welcome there.

Its an awesome little shop with amazing music and incredible coffee. Part of the reason I like the music so much is because its very diverse, but most of the time fits within my favorite genre. The various tables and chairs are all nice and comfortable. The coffee and the tea have no words to describe how good they are. You wouldnt guess it from a coffee shop but the food on their menu is all amazing. They have vegan and gluten free options that all taste amazing.

When ever I am in the area I go in and get delicious coffee/tea based drinks. I always look forward to going, even though the space is small its always interesting to look at. The baristas arent the most talkative people in the world you will definitely get what you give, that might make it a tad intimidating but they are just quite people. Go for the delicious drinks and treats! definitely worth a try!

This is a great coffee shop with some of the best fresh made foods and desserts. They have a large display case with many varieties of pastries and delicious treats. They have the best turkey sandwich ever. They also have a great soup menu that is always changing that includes vegan dishs. I also highly recommend the toasted peanut butter and jelly sandwich to cure a hang over.

Ive been to many independent coffee shops across the country, and this was one my least favorite. My espresso macchiato was either over roasted or over extracted, as it was disgustingly bitter. It also felt a bit dirty inside (although that might have been intentional). Overall, what could have been a pleasant atmosphere was ruined by poorly brewed coffee.

Ordered an iced americano (rather basic dink in my opinion) it came out watery and tasted like a washed out drip coffee pot. The barista was also unhelpful, not rude, just didnt seem interested in providing any information about the coffee options. Seemed annoyed that we didnt already know the intricacies of their menu.

One of my favorite coffee shops Salt Lake has to offer. Unique atmosphere that caters to every crowd. The sweet dirty chai is honestly the best drink I have had. I believe they use banana pure in their chai to give it a unique sweet flavor. Their food options are good, and they also have many tasty vegan options!

One of my favorite shops in SLC! I love their vegan options! If you go here, you HAVE to try their chocolate chai. It is some of the best chai I have ever had! The staff is always so friendly, and they always have conversations with their customers. I highly recommend going here if you need some nice down time.

We went in near closing and there was a musical performance going on. We ordered tea. I felt a bit rushed. It was an older crowd which I didnt particularly mind. The atmosphere was cool. It was just that outsider going into an inside club feel. We might go back for the soap. Bob shredded on the guitar.

The place is amazing and the coffee is 100% on point. The only thing that bothers me is that management doesnt do anything to help the workers. When stuff breaks, management does nothing to help and it gets the workers and customers frustrated. Management needs to be more present during times like this

The best coffee in town! I have been going there for years. Baristas are well trained, espresso is always well pulled, food is delicious and creative, they have the best roasts... Its worth walking and extra 20 mins or driving a few extra miles for a cup of coffee. :)

Love this place. When I come in from out of town I always try to book an Air Bnb near by so I can hit this place up in the morning. The coffee (both drip and espresso) has been consistently good, the staff is nice and the atmosphere is great (love the skeletons!).

I usually have a great experience at this coffee shop, but on feb 4th 2012 the night barista was horrible. He couldnt pay attention, messed up our orders horribly, and would not get off his phone. I hope the services changes soon, I will not be coming back soon.

Absolutely my favorite coffee shop in SLC. It is small but comfortable and not often crowded, good coffee and very friendly baristas. Jason (the owner) has approached me a few times to recognize me as a regular customer, very friendly man. Fantastic coffee shop

Great coffee shop with a unique ambience and a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly quick service and the coffee.... Somethings you just cant do any justice trying to describe them with words. You might prefer to experience a cup yourself and be your own judge.

This is my new favorite non-chain coffee spot. The interior is so cozy, the drinks are plenty, and they have food choices for everyone, even vegans. I will definitely need to come back immediately, to try out even more drinks. Im excited to come back!!

Alchemy Coffee in SLC is one of my favorite coffee shops. The staff is friendly, and the coffee is great. My only complaint is that there is not much seating available, so you cannot always guarantee that there will be spots available to work or chat.

Seriously... I think this is the greatest coffee in the state. Not sure how they make it. Because I believe they use a local coffee roasting company that a lot of others use... but this coffee, once brewed, is far superior. Love it. Love it. Love it

Always friendly, better prices, and a great local spot. They have great vegan and vegetarian options and everything taste great. They even play classical music in the morning. Everyone, including their customers, is very respectful. Hidden gem.
