This location is terrible. We walked in at about 10 p.m. for some late night bowling fun, because we had some coupons that we had received. When we got there, they told us that the coupons could not be used at 10 oclock. I threw them away, and we paid normally and tried to order food, the employee told us the kitchen was closed and we could not order food, even though the people in line before us ordered food without a problem. Luckily I had some snacks in my car, so I ran out and grabbed them, and we started to bowl. Once we stated bowling they came over and told me I had to throw away my snacks, and that they dont allow any outside food or drink. At this point I was already extremely annoyed, but unfortunately that was just the beginning. A large group of about 10 people came in and wanted to bowl, they were very loud and obnoxious. They put them on the lane right next to us, even though there were like 20 open lanes, they were very loud, and kept bragging to us that their friends are managers there, so all of their bowling was free. After we finished our first game we went to the desk to request being moved a few lanes away so that we could have a little more room, the employee told us no that we could not. At this point I was done, so I told him that I wanted to cancel our last two games and wanted a refund for them. He then refunded me $1.78. I asked why my refund was so low when I had just paid $23.97 earlier to bowl 3 games with shoes. He tried showing me the math behind it like 6 times, and it never made any sense or added up to what he said it did. I asked for a copy of my receipt to show him that I had paid that much money to begin with, and all of the sudden they had lost the receipts and couldnt find mine any where. I was noticeably upset about my experience, and the way they tried to reconcile it, was by giving me the exact same coupons back that I had tried to use earlier! Overall, my experience was awful, I will never return, and tell everyone I know not to use this bowling alley! Terrible service!

I do not normally write reviews, especially to organizations that I have only been in a couple times. My daughter is currently an employee at the Provo location, and after reading this review, she may not be due to the typical management practices. My daughter served a mission, and has made only good choices in her life. She felt happy to find employment with a complany that offered a great environment. However, she has been disappointed in the treatment this location has had on its employees. My daughter does not complain much, ever nor has she ever, its not her nature. But recently she has called numerous times with disappointing situations that she has felt uncomfortable with. Management letting large groups utilize the facility free of charge, employees..that have worked for several years being let go because they are considered "no bubbly enough" only to be replaced by a management family member, time off with prior agreement denied after a trip was scheduled, favortism within the staff, expectancy of providing work duties off duty hours, and the list goes on. I am not sure if this review will be read or reviewed by any upper management. As an employee of FMWR, knowing my daughter, and the relationship she has with individuals that she meets, as well as her work ethics I can see why it is hard for her to witness the unfairness and dishonesty. Hopefully management will take a closer look at this location and remedy some of the issues that are currently ocurring.

Fat Cats has always been a good time, and is sometimes iconic in Provo. However, the two lanes to the right of us were full of people screaming at the top of their lungs whenever someone threw a ball down the lane. They were so loud that they were distracting to our own game. I asked someone at the desk to see if they could get the to be quieter, and she told me "you can go talk to them, if youre having the problem, but they arent bothering me." The frustration I experience walking away was two fold; I was not valued as a customer to Fat Cats, and the manager implied that I was the one with the problem. I understand shouting and cheering and how rowdy people can be, but when 4 young guys are having a competition to see who can shout louder than the rest is where a line should be drawn, and where management should step in. Also, they were out of ingredients, so we couldnt purchase food. We asked to speak with the manager, and the lady that implied I had the problem, was the manager. If the owners care- this lady had brown hair byu shirt with cougars written from top to bottom, on the evening of 11/26/2016.

We called about 3 weeks in advance to have them host a birthday party for our 1 year old. We was told to put our food order in in advanced by 2 days so when we got there all we had to do was sit and eat. And so thats what we did. We was planning for a 20 person party and when we showed up, NOTHING was ready...tables were discusting..there wasnt even enough tables or chairs for everybody! I was absolutely embarrassed as my party stood around and watched as we scrambled to get things in order. And on top of it all NONE of the food had been started. We waited a good 30 minutes before everyone could get a slice of pizza. Talk about a nightmare. I chose this place because we live in an apartment that was too small to host 20 people, but after this experience I would have much rather had my guests scrunched together, on the floors, than have it at Fat Katz.

Called in to reserve 3 lanes for a birthday party. Was told they dont take reservations and then was asked when we thought our party would arrive. We said 7 and they told us that we cant come in until 8 because all the lanes were rented out for a party. How does that make sense? Then when we showed up at 7:45 to bowl at 8 there was a sign that said that they are closed for a private party till 8:30 now and couldnt do anything about it. If youre gonna have rules like that they should apply to everyone unless specified. Im now sitting watching "all the reserved lanes" and only half are even being used yet they are turning other customers away. Poor management poorly run. Employees wouldnt even get a manager for us to talk to Would recommend miracle bowl all day long before I go to fat cats again. Only did one star because thats the lowest allowed

Fun activity center for a few different things. The bowling alley has the typical features of a modern bowling alley with an automatic scoring system. The arcade includes a variety of games and billiards tables. It is also attached to Costa Vida so there are some great options for food too. Been able to have a good time several times. It is by BYU so it can be busy on certain nights. I dont know if they have league nights. Parking can also be limited as it located in a small strip of land with other businesses.
