Terrible experience! ! I was chased down the 5th Fairway by grounds crew and had fertilizer sprayed on me. No joke! ! Got pelted by fertilizer being sprayed from a truck. When I confronted the worker about being hit with fertilizer he told me"He knew exactly what he was doing" . Later, had the pleasure of the pro shop tell me it was a learning experience for everyone. All I learned is to stay out of the way of the grounds crew and the customer comes last at El Monte. It will be a long time, if ever, that I revisit this course! There are too many other good courses to play where you dont have to worry about this kind of treatment.

Not the greatest course around by far. What is does have is amazing views, and an awesome first tee shot on hole number 1. This course is usually dry in the summer months, and play is kind of slow. They have a driving range which tees on grass, and a pro shop with an adjoining grill. Its only 9 holes so 18 is simply a reround. Fairways range from moderate to short per par average. Greens are mostly slow. I golf at this location once a year since 1993.

This is a fun 9 hole course. My favorite holes are #1, #3, and #5. The first tee shot is quite unique with those two giant trees in the center of the fairway. Do I go around... over... under? Id tell you, but dont want to ruin it for you.

The course design is okay at best. The guy behind the counter was totally lost and disorganized. It took me and my friend over 3 hours to finish 9 holes because he stacked everybody so close together. Dont waste your time.

Always enjoyed this course. Can be windy in the morning. Nights are great. Staff is helpful and quick. Hell they even let me borrow a cart to go look for my phone the next day after I lost it. Dave is awesome!

Decent course for the price. Only 9 holes and can play slow due to that. Being close to throw canyon it is often windy, but still a fun course to play once in awhile.

Golfing and sledding here is all season fun. Glad they havent closed it to sledding as so many other places have.

I enjoy playing at El Monte, I only wish they had 9 more holes! Lots of trees and elevation change which is great.
