I wish I could give it 0 stars! Arrived at expected time and everything was fine smooth check in got to the room to find out the Wi-Fi was no good they had to send maintenance over to the room which took an hour for them to show up to fix the Internet. I ordered pizza from dominos which was good. I went to go put the remaining pizza in the refrigerator only to find it full of ice. I then had to turn the heater off because it was too hot in the room and I tried to open the window only to find it screwed shut. Then I noticed when I wanted to go to the hot tub that the tub is not maintained it is green with leaves and dirt in it. Then I got back to my room disappointed because thats one reason that I had booked this hotel. There is water damage to the walls underneath the AC unit. The door was hard to walk did not really feel safe with the door in the condition it was in. There was no alarm clock or phone in the room god forbid something happened and I needed to call 9-1-1 how would I do that if my cell phone was dead. Thankfully I did not need to call them even though I kept my phone real close to me. The bathroom is real plane its all one color tile is cheap disgusting nothing is level the toilet rocks the tub has mold the shower curtain has not been cleaned in a long time the towels here smell gross and I dont even need to use and I can just smell theres no soap the carpet is gross. There were no blankets there was only a sheet on the bed and when I called the front desk from my cell phone because they did not supply a phone they said that is how they normally rent their rooms out. All of the baseboards seem to be falling off I really wish I could post pictures of all of this on here because for the price I paid for what I am in is ridiculous theres construction going on all over the place here which is a big inconvenience to people they have sidewalks all tore up and not morning anybody about the hazards of walking on the sidewalk and then all the sudden theres no more sidewalk their fitness center was closed the rooms are poorly labeled with room numbers my room smells like it has smoked in it the safe was closed when I got here and they did not have a code for it and told me that lol youre just not going to have a safe to use. I swear I saw a cockroach crawl across the bathroom floor. One of the trash cans were overflowing in the bathroom there for you can tell housekeeping was not in here to clean up the room after the last guest I had construction debris in my vehicle after going to bed for the night I think there were only three guests staying at this hotel. I certainly see why now they had so many openings. The parking lot is empty there are only seven cars here in the middle of the night including mine. I ended up having to sleep in the chair in the room because the bed was disgusting as well. I will never recommend this place to anybody. I am in the middle of trying to get my money back because that was completely ridiculous

Tried to stay here last night with a dramatic departure. My fiance and I decided to spend Valentines star gazing at an astronomy party at Lost Dutchman state park and spend the night close so we could get up and go hike in the morning. Everything in Apache Junction was sold out, since there was a marathon this weekend. No big deal, we found Arizona Golf resort and decided to book one of the only rooms left. Once we arrived and got checked in, my fiance, being the gentleman he is, went to unlock the room while I parked the car. When I pulled up he look jolted and said ***** "I just almost got punched in the face...". He had opened the room to walk in on a couple making love, that apparently were trying to have a romantic Valentines day too. **** He had seen them both naked, startled them, and the man (rightfully so) jumped out of bed and reacted by swinging at my fiance. We went back to the front desk to get a whimpered "Im sorry" from one front desk girl, the guy at the front desk could have cared less and walked off like nothing had happened. Since we hadnt been charged we just left, without being offered any assistance to find another hotel, ask if there was anything they could do, nothing. Oh....and its 12:36pm the next day and the manager has still not contacted me, like promised. It didnt ruin our Valentines, because I refuse to let it, but both my fiance and I felt sorry for the couple who had spent $200 to have a romantic Valentines that got ruined by Arizona Golf Resorts lack of attention to detail. And, my fiance almost got punched in the face. And, we havent been contacted like promised. Awesome experience AGR, way to pay charge resort prices for your (at best) 2.5 star motel.

Where do I begin. Upon calling Thursday March 9 to confirm check in time is 4pm to see if there was anyway to check in early as the wedding rehearsal I was apart of started at 4pm the front desk was rude. Then checking in on March 10 one had me fill out my paperwork and showed me where my room was then the other checked me in and took my payment. I asked for the map and at first was told I couldnt until I demanded it. Asked for 2 keys. Of course I got one. I was in a rush to make the rehearsal dinner since I waited in line 20 minutes to check in. Then when I go to get to my room after dinner of course the key doesnt work. The bride then found out the hotel over booked and wont have her room ready till 4pm the exact same time as her wedding. Which is ridiculous! Thankfully I had my room to be used for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready since over booked and had no room available for her. The whole experience at this hotel was least statisfing. My boyfriend was very understanding and left the room so us girls could get ready. But thats the thing he shouldnt of had to if your staff would of done their job. Along with a resort. A motel 6 is more upgraded than this hotel. No ice machine available except the bar which wasnt close! We called Saturday night for extra pillows to help with the uncomfortable bed and received towels. Had to send them back for what we actually requested. Along with being a resort and no breakfast available is ridiculous! As a guest or a bride & groom stay far away unless you want an extremely unsatisfactory situation. How dare this location try to book weddings when they obviously cant be professional and organized enough to do so to the bride and groom and guest!

We were only at AGR for a round of golf; wed found a great deal on 18 holes there, and at this time of year thats harder to find. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised at the simple yet lovely way it wound through the community. The only letdown was the condition of the course itself, but atbthis time of year its to be expected at almost any public course; this is just that awkward phase seen just before reseeding begins. Nevertheless, the rough nature of the fairways and greens made it impossible to predict or control ball behavior; even a perfect shot would be undermind by the rough terrain, and we felt that it simply made the game pointless. We also had issues with a foursome ahead of us who bringing speed of play to a complete stop on some holes, playing loud music from obe of their carts, And I learn unfamiliar or unconcerned enough with golfing etiquette to let us play through . Ended up having to skip a whole in order to move past them and continue the round and a reasonable pace . Aside from those issues, i found it to be a nice little hidden gem within the city Where the costs or reasonable and the course could make for a great afternoon had the conditions of the turf itself been a little more forgiving.
