I spent a week at Hidden Valley RV Park. There are several aspects of this park I will review, such as location, attitude, cleanliness, amenities, and pricing. The location is very close to both I35 and I410. Lackland AFB is only 8 miles away. Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Macy´s, Kohl´s, and many other stores are within 10 miles. The Alamo and the River Walk are about 26 miles away. Although it is not centrally located to many attractions it is well worth the stay. The owners took country land and created a 73 spot RV Park that is well maintained, quiet, and beautiful. It is about 2 miles off I35. The road to the park is a 3/4 mile gravel road. This is one of the down sides of the park. The road is not well maintained and is a little bumpy. The posted speed is 10 MPH and for your RV sake, I would drive only 10 MPH. The Owners are the friendliest I have ever met. They are nice and accommodating on the phone and in person. When I did not show up on time, I received a phone call asking if I was going to make it. When I explained my situation, I was assured that my spot would be saved until I got here. The owners take pride in their park. The property is well maintained and very clean. Even the Clubhouse where the laundry is located is not just clean, but so clean you would not mind living there. There are a few amenities. There is a small dog park, wireless internet, the clubhouse, and a small river for fishing. The dog park is cute and has some toys for the dogs. The wireless internet is the other downside to this park. I have been unable to stream any movies and just surfing the web is very slow. If you have a wifi hotspot, use it. AT&T has good coverage out here. I am not sure about the others. The clubhouse is a single wide mobile home that has been furnished with chairs, some exercise equipment, a full kitchen and laundry with a reading room in the back. It is very clean and warm. Great for having a get together, or just hanging out with other campers. If you do not a washer and dryer in your RV, this is a great place to sit and relax. There is a computer to check email and surf the web. The rates here are very reasonable. Especially compared to other private RV parks. Here is their rate list. All sites have 50 Amp/30 amp and 110 GFI, sewer and water. $39.00 per night $200.00 per week $470.00 per month Rates are based on up to 2 people. Additional people in RV’s (5 years and older, per person): $3.00 per night $15.00 per week $30.00 per month All in all, this is a great place to stay in San Antonio. It is reasonably priced, clean and quiet with friendly owners. Everything needed when traveling.

We stayed a little over a month from April to May 2017. This is a family owned park that is clean and quiet. Terry manages the park and is great to talk with. She knows the area and things to do. She always has a smile. She makes the stay nice. The sites are large grassy sites with gravel to park on. This park is big rig friendly for sure. We stayed in a 40 foot Montana 5th wheel. The park is in a country setting and is quiet and peaceful. It is just a couple of minutes from the interstate, fuel, stores, things to do and food. You get the best of both worlds staying here. The facilities like the bathroom, showers, and laundry room (4 washers and dryers) are new since 2016. They are all kept very clean. There is only one thing I could say that some may not like is the gravel road coming into the park. Some may not like driving on gravel, but if that holds you back, you missed a great place to overnight or hang your hat for a longer stay. We will be back when we are in the area again as we totally enjoyed our stay here.

We have stayed there 2 times and each was very restful and enjoyable We were close to the air force base so we could visits our grandson. Our pet squirrel "Peanut" got out and decided to stay there. Although it broke our hearts to leave her we had no choice since she refused to come back. It was time for her to be on her own since she had just turned two years old. After seven weeks we drove from Tennessee back to San Antonio just to check on her and believe it or not she was still running around now that should tell you what a great place it is stay she still refused to leave. We know she is in a good place and everyone is watching out for her. Teri and her husband are wonderful people and try to make your stay pleasant We would recommend Hidden Valley to anyone who enjoys peace and guiet and true beautiful nature environment to camp in.

My wife and I live on the road so weve been to A LOT of RV parks. So I mean it when I say that Terry and her crew at Hidden Valley are running one of the absolute best parks in the country. They are amazingly friendly, accommodating, and supportive. Plus, the park is SUPER accessible to San Antonio (its right off I-35). Our first day there, Terry welcomed us in, gave us some great advice about touring San Antonio, and went out of her way to make sure our stay was amazing. You simply WILL NOT GO WRONG by staying here. Everything about this place is top notch. Thanks to all at Hidden Valley!

Teri arranged for us to have our camp site from the previous year for this year, perfect. My friend had their camper and I had ours, so we were camping next to each other. The place is especially clean and pretty, bath house is above the usual, clean, private and roomy. Terri is so sweet and helpful, she does what is necessary to ensure that all expectations are met. The camp ground os quiet, grass is manicured, hookup neat and easy access and work well. I will go back as soon as I can, love this place.

We are staying here to go to the River Walk in San Antonio. Which is only about 25 minutes north of here. This is a hidden Gem. So beautiful and clean , out away from everything, but close too. And Terri at the office couldnt be more friendly and helpful. She knows the River Walk well and was very helpful with how to enter and the best places to park. They also have the nicest large showers and bathrooms. And a laundry room as well . This place is fabulous !

We love it here! Its beautiful and very peaceful! The price is great and we feel like we are at home in the country. It is a safe place, so you wont have to worry about relaxing here. You can go fishing for some catfish, or hang out around a bonfire at night. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend this RV park over any others.
