The water sprayers were nothing to write home about. It wasnt as big as reviews and descriptions made it out to be. Was a few small circle areas with some things with water shooting out of them. The park itself right next with the play equipment to it was much bigger than the water play area. It was decently nice, but nothing could really take the baby I had with me on. Baby swing was even too hot to try. When we got there, I was only going for a couple of hours to check it out and didnt think to try and bring a lawn chair with me. I was told you have to get there when they open the gate at like 7am in order to get shaded seating. All the other benches out in the sun, made of metal and way too hot to sit on, what were they thinking? Should have made them from wood or something that doesnt absorb all that heat. I tried in my wet bathing suit hoping the water would protect me, no, I still burned my butt off, literally. I am diabetic and have serious back issues and a healing broken ankle and had to spend over 2 hours standing up, with a baby in my arms half the time. It was torture. I dont think Ill ever go back. I know I certainly wont without my own chair. They have a few food/ice cream trucks too, but the one that sells hot dogs is a bit greedy. They charge for anything extra. Like say you get a shaved ice, you have to pay for your spoon. You buy a hot dog, you have to pay 50 extra cents for condiments. Not sure if the other 2 are the same, they didnt have signs up stating it like the other one, so all depends on what you might want to buy. There are also TONS of bees and yellow jackets around. I am allergic to bees, not sure about yellow jackets. So that didnt really improve things for me either. I decided I am doing my daughters bday party at the one in New Braunfels. Went there for my nephews bday party and it was a lot better.

Since I do not play disk golf anymore I will rate the dog park. With almost 2 1/2 acres it allows dogs room to play. There are both small dog and large dog areas. There is dog confidence equipment in the park, a plus. The problems here are few, but significant. There is no shade for the human patrons. The water feature for the dogs is inadequate for the large number of dogs that come to the park. The water feature is also old and corroded. Maintenance and upkeep oil the park is not speedy, nor is it consistent. Too many young children use the dog park for a playground. But there are many good people who watch out for other patrons of the park. The dogs love it!!!

If you havent been out here to relax, run, walk and take advantage of many other things ...ya say like what? 3 basketball courts, sweet skateboard park, zip line , pavilion cover with tables and Im one That doesnt care much for public restrooms. .but they keep this place pretty darn clean. With weather getting cooler its a nice place to bring ur book, table, camera and chill , very friendly and safe with plenty of parking.oh ya most of the time vendors set up with snow cones, drinks, snacks. I come to run 5 days a week and shot hoops dog park next door within waking distance and darn sweet as well...if snap I almost forgot the golf park is the Sh£...

Pearsall Park has a disc golf course as well as a variety of other sports fields and entertainments for children. I have played the disc golf course dozens of times. It varies in quality--how well the grass is cut makes a difference in how easily one loses golf discs (specialty Frisbees). This part of Pearsall Park is built on a dump. After a rain noxious water can be found standing near holes 1, 2, 3, and 6. After a heavy rain it might resemble a planned water hazard for a week or more. Ive lost several discs there, but I keep returning for the exercise. The overall elevation varies more than 120 feet from the highest point to the lowest.

Very impressed. Extensive and fun equipment for kids and adults. Zip line. Traveling rings. Pull up bars. Exercise station for squats, pullups, dips, crunches. Well done south San Antonio! Biggest surprise: a two land 40 yard (I think) dash strip with lights and timer, race a friend! Tip: if the timers dont seem to be working, step onto the green strip with your child... s/he can take off when the green light comes on (they seen to have a minimum weight for activation, not sure).

With an 11 and 6 yr old its sometimes hard to find things theyll both love. This is the place for us. The splashpad can get a bit overwhelming when its crowded but early in the morning its perfect for them. The giant playground is sure to please and the zip line is fun for all the young adventure seekers. The trails up the hill make great views. We come here about twice a month.

We arrived ready to play in the water! It was not a maintenance day, the sun was shining, temps over 90 degrees, and the website said the water park was open, but to our dismay there was no water. Since the water was off it is just too hot to play since this park has no trees or natural shade to relieve you from the sun. The park is modern but not walking distance. Poor location.

I like it for the kids to have fun and either skate or have a party and just have leisure time to live life and be at peace also there is park police at the park as well no time for DRAMA just have fun with kids and friends and family and enjoy might get a little congested with traffic and people but hey if you have morales and tolerance welcome to the real world have fun

Loved the park but it was very packed. The splash pad had very little water coming out. I expected it to be a little bit more wet but it was free. You can take a cooler but good luck in finding a spot. There were also hardly any shade. We sat under the little trees to get shade. Also there are a couple of vending trucks that served rasps, nachos and other snacks.

The water park is great the playground is awesome wish I had one like this when I was a kid and the ice cream trucks keep you fed and cool. Best of all its free free free. Beautiful sunrises as well as sunsets. Great panoramic views and you can see the skyline of downtown. Let the kids play while you go for a hike up the hills. Great place for family fun.
