Driving Range = No Putting and chipping green = Yes Bar and Grill = Yes Overall I gave 4 out of 5 stars in regards to value. I am a member of the Alamo Trail and like to walk this course. It is long but even longer from the tips. You can see the improvements made; new bridges and new planted trees. I have played this course several times and it is one of my favorites on the trail. Fairways are open for the most part and greens are big and never in bad condition. I like the back 9 better then the front as there are more creeks and hazards that come into play. Pace of play is usually steady. I am not comparing to a resort course but gave 4 out 5 due to value (if trail member), friendly staff, and full service bar and grill. I would like to see a beer cart on weekends. Im surprised there is not one considering how busy it can get on a weekend morning.

The condition of the course is mediocre. The unforgiving Texas-heat has left its mark upon the course. I played it for the first time today, and my ball, which landed safely in the middle of the fairway, was bombarded by sprinklers showering my hasty approach. This happened on two separate holes. Navigating the course is difficult as well. Some holes are not marked, and there is quite a bit of back tracking cartpaths. But overall, it was a fun experience for the price. There are some lengthy par 5s and 3s, so it can be challenging. Nice for a quick outing on a weekday. Its very comparable to Olmos Basin, whereas there is no range to warm up. The holes are more inviting though, and the price is much better than the Basin.

Played here last Sunday for the first time. For a municipal course, WS is not bad. Scenic, plenty challenging (for me, especially!), and reasonably priced. I think it ran about $47 including a cart. A couple of negatives--fairway grass was okay but too riddled with weeds, especially nutsedge, and dont get far off the fairways if you know what is good for you. Greens were still recovering from aeration, so they were not in great shape and yet very fast. No beverage cart in Texas in the summertime is just plain cruel and unusual. Food in the grill was good--I had a delicious breakfast taco, freshly cooked up. All in all, not a bad course, but certainly not something special.

Very friendly staff, will help you, and are nice and social. The front nine, however, is crap. It is literally a trash yard around the fairways, and not pretty. But, the greens are nice. The back nine is pretty solid, but still, outside trash is all over the course at times. No help for navigating the holes. Makes it difficult with many dog leg fairways. It could be good, but prices are very detracting. $50 to walk 18 and rent crap clubs. Would recommend if you have money and dont care where you play. Some decent, long holes overall though... I would say Distance-5 stars Scenery-1 star(trash everywhere) Mapping/hole guidance-2 stars Greens-5 stars Prices-2 stars

Course was in great condition and fun for a municipal course, but beware of rude patrons. I played 9 holes, 3 over par in 1 hour and 20 minutes on a late Sunday afternoon with almost an empty course and yet I was still hit into on two occasions. Neither party apologized. I can only imagine what the crowd is like during more peak playing hours. This course is a great value for the cheaper rate, but in terms of overall experience, you get what you pay for.

The course itself plays well and is very enjoyable. However, we do not look forward to entering the clubhouse. Poor customer relations and a very small parking lot affect the overall experience. Hopefully the city will evaluate the clubhouse employees, otherwise I dont expect many return customers.

Course is in great condition. Greens had been punched n sanded, which I wasnt aware of when I made my t time. They were faster then anticipated. The rough was a little deeper then I like. Hard to find the ball, which takes a longer time to play.

I gave it a 3 just because Im comparing it to 5 star courses, but for the price, it would be a 5: great bang for your buck! Dont underestimate this course, its one of the longer courses in the area, one of the better courses on the Alamo Trail.

Course is in very good shape as of December 2015. Proshop staff very helpful and courteous. Bryan (assistant manager) should be a trainer so all the Trail courses would provide the best service.

Willow is one of the better golf courses in town. Greens are in great shape, and the course can play loooooong from the tips. Nice staff, starter needs a hearing aid though :-)

Went during Rodeo and the place was empty. Very easy golf course and staff was on-point but there was alot of trash on the course. Someone needs to clean it up.

The greens, fairways, and tee boxes were in great shape. Would have given it 5 stars, but the snack bar is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
