I went there because it was beside my place and had to buy a glove. They would have charged 27 bucks for a glove. Only one by the way. 10 bucks for a bucket of balls, not a bad price except for the fact that it wont improve your game for two reasons: The balls are of very poor quality. Like a knuckle ball because the balls are either cut from the mower or are so worn out that they have a flat surface creating the wild and inaccurate ball flights. The other fact is that a range is supposed to be a place where you can "range" how far you hit your shots. The flags are inaccurate no matter where you are hitting from. They dont tell you if they are measured from the front or back. And the fact that there is a downhill slope at the beginning and there is a hilly terrain, leads me to suspect that none of the distances are accurate. Hit from either side of the range and it might as well be a judgement call. No way can I throw a golf ball 100 yards on the fly. Never going back because it wont give you accurate distances and a true ball flight. Might as well hit wiffle balls in the back yard.

The course was in ok conditions but the greens were terrible. I also planned my day to play a round in about 4.5 to 5 hours. ..typical round. Unfortunately they over booked and nine holes took 3 hours waiting on people. Taking that into account I knew I couldnt complete the round in decent time so I asked to have a rain check for my second nine for my father and i because he came from out of town and we had a schedule to keep. The person in the front must have been offended by my request and became rude telling me that he wouldnt do anything for me and that I was out of luck. I informed him that my father n friends and I would not return to this course if this is the treatment they provide to customers. He blew me of and said he was fine with that. I thanked him n left. Looks like my 110 dollars for the 2 rounds was not important. I wont be back.

Visiting the area over Thanksgiving and found myself with some time to play this course I had heard so much about. The tee shots were not as penal as I expected and many of the fairways push the ball back to the middle. The teeth of this course is the greens. Even with a laser getting to the right tier is VERY difficult. A pin sheet would have been very helpful. Often I would hit a great approach only to find myself with a 30 footer up or down to the tier the hole was placed on. That being said, I found the course enjoyable to play and would recommend it. Expect to lose a couple of balls and shoot a few strokes higher than normal. Local knowledge, which I didnt have, would have helped. Definitely going back to try and improve my score.

Excellent Value- A Municipal course with public prices and a design that fits Hill Country perfectly. There is a lot of challenging terrain and you will have to hit the fairways perfectly in order to get an even lie. Staff is always friendly, but there are not a lot of options in the Pro Shop for equipment rentals. Considering the proximity to many expensive courses nearby, you will not get better bang for your buck than Cedar Creek.

Best value for excellent golf in the city, and my favorite course on the Alamo Golf Trail. The course offers sweeping fairways with challenging hills and tree placements. Moderately difficult with not too many water hazards. Both number 9 & 10 should provide an ego boost (see: inflated driving distance) due to elevated tee boxes. Easy to walk on in the afternoons and cheap for a twilight nine holes.

Best course on the Alamo Golf Trail. Always in good condition and the course is tough. If youre looking for an easy day on the links, go somewhere else because this course will humble you. If I could mark it down anywhere it would be the lack of a real club house. No real restaurant or place to enjoy a beer, but thats not what I can honestly judge a golf course on. Good luck!!

Dont waste your time! There are many other great golf courses in San Antonio. This place is not worth the cost. The head "professional" is obnoxious and unprofessional. I asked for a rain check and he looked down his nose with the wry smile and said "sorry buddy". The staff is cold hearted and its probably because they hate being out there too.

A definite must play for any golfer in the area! Very beautiful and clandestine. But I will warn you that the fairways are very slopey: downhill or uphill PERPENDICULAR to the hole. With my 3 wood, I had to aim to the left and slice the ball.... I shanked my second shot so many times after such beautiful drives.

Play golf here several times, it is a difficult course. Staff are friendly and professional and try to manage pace of play accordingly as needed. Range balls are expensive for what you get. Views of surrounding homes are a great addition to course play.

This is the nicest muni in SA. Brand new carts with GPS. Alot of elevation change. Good large practice tee. Putting green is odd. Nice people run it. Professional air. Good price. Great value.

Tough to walk this course. Lots of distance between holes and elevation changes. But a great layout. Well maintained. Reasonable greens fees as it is on the municipal circuit.

great course. first time you play it, just enjoy the view. my understanding is that they brought in 3.5 million yards of fill to make this work, and it really works great.

There is nothing flat about this course. It has undulating greens and awesome bunkers along with long beautiful green fairways. Bring your A game or get left behind.

The worst part is that cellphone signal is poor! not their fault though. In a preety decent shape for a municipal course, in a great location

Great municipal course, well kept. Great discounts for juniors under 18. 18 holes with a cart in the summer was 23 dollars.
