If you are looking for a great golf experience with emaculate fairways and greens the La Cantera Resort Course is a blast! With the PGAs Valero Texas Open coming in a few weeks they were in major prep mode which also made it fun to imagine the crowds cheering you on or laughing at your poor shots. Even better is the twilight price of $65 after 3 pm. If I lived in S.A., Id play it at least monthly if not more often for the amazing views, elevated tees, greens and more! J from Seattle

Fairways were very nice, Greens were slow an rough in places. Also, if you go to there website to book a tee time, it will give you a price. Dont do like my friend did and decide to call for a tee time instead of booking it on line. The price was $60.00 dollars higher, which they did not say until he got there. He or I will never go back. There are to many good courses to play in San Antonio that are cheaper and will treat you right.

Mike Vardeman is excellent as an instructor. He listens, analyzes, uses video for feedback and then puts you on a path of improvement. You can tell he has a passion for the game and enjoys his work. I have quite a bit of experience with golf instructors. Mike is very talented. I highly recommend golf instruction at La Cantera with Mike Vardeman.
