Overall: Really helpful server who genuinely wanted to help me find a wine I liked. I also think fermenting and bottling and aging the wine in-house is a great idea. That, along with good prices and the option to have them make a custom wine just for you, earns water2wine 4 stars. Things you should know: 1) Its a small retail venue so dont show up with 20 of your "closest" girlfriends and expect to have any place to sit. 2) You can actually have them make wine just for you. This means that you pick the grapes and they ferment, age, and bottle for you. Theyll even put your own custom label on the bottles. 3) All the wines are made in-house, so thats what you have to choose from. CON: Only con is that not all their wines are, shall we say, top-notch. But the good thing is you get 5 free tastings so youll be able to find one that suits your taste.

This is my first time handing out a 5 start rating and this establishment deserves it. I have frequented this wine tasting room a total of 6 times and I have enjoyed the experience each time. They even allow you to bring your own snacks and food. I have had wine made for me on three occasions. They have never disappointed me. They give you five free tastings and they are very patient too. My only complaint is the arrogance of some of their customers. Some customers behave as if they should be given priority since they drink everyday, lol. Some are just plain rude! They remind me of some of the arrogant people in Wholes Food Market. I didnt wont to gig Water 2 Wine a star for the behavior of some of their customers. So 5 stars it is.

My girlfriend and I went based off a recommendations from many people. Id have to say the person that got bad service on Dec. 20th had to have been uncommon. Many friends recommended it, and when my girlfriend and I went, Sandra was the only one working. There was another large table, and although it took her a few minutes to get to us, it was ok, we were enjoying the drinks and eachother...not to mention we drank 5 1/2 glasses each for no charge....at the end we were given a small tour, which I requested, and she did a soft sell (not overbearing at all), and we left very very happy. 5 STARS.

The service here was TERRIBLE! I went with a group of friends for a wine tasting for my birthday. The place is really nice. Its small and very intimate, but the wait staff did absolutely nothing to educate us about wine. They basically gave us a list, told us to circle what we wanted, and then came back with or wine. They made no effort to try to sell us anything. I was really disappointed. This place has a really good setup, but when it came to service they really dropped the ball.

I had a wine bottling party with my college girlfriends at Water2Wine in November. I emailed Emily a photo of our group and she designed a great label for our wine. We brought in our own food and enjoyed appetizers before we bottled. Glen and Emily showed us all the steps and we had a blast! We gave out bottles with our label as hostess gifts and Christmas presents. I love the wine and it is fun to stop in before or after a dinner date.

Attended a Ladies Networking Event at Water2Wine last night. Sandra spent some time tutoring me about the wine and its flavors because I do not know much about wine. I was allowed to sample some and ended up with a wonderful Riesel. All the staff was attentive to the 30 or so ladies that were there, and the environment was friendly without being pushy. I had a great time and have already recommended it to several friends.

Water 2 Wine has been great at supporting the events of our local non-profit. Their wines are great and have been enjoyed by everyone at our events, and their staff are wonderful at explaining why their wines are special. Its so nice to have a local wine merchant that doesnt just use caring about the environment as window dressing for their product, but is willing to put their product where their, and our, mouths are.

Not only a great meeting place for friends and family but also for business networking....the staff is not only welcoming but know their wines! Sandra was very attentive to our groups different tastes and made some very helpful suggestions to help educate us about all their wines. Their talented staff created fantastic labels for my family and business...LOVED IT!

Showed up with a crew of folks on a bus tour. These folks were very kind and happy to answer questions even though we filled the place. They have alternative wines (meaning not your normal wines but pomegranate, kiwi, etc.) Which is nice for the non-wine lovers as they dont taste like your normal wine. Great folks! Highly recommend water2wine

Absolutely loved this place. The Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were great and the cheese plates are very well thought out and beautifully presented. Its a wonderful place for private events, custom wine gifting or just to hang out. Love, love, love the place and the staff!!!!

We stumbled upon this place about a year ago and absolutely love the wines and the poople. We visit our friends at water 2 wine often and have even brought in out of town guests to taste wines and meet the staff. Bottling and labeling our own wine was great fun and would certainly do it again.

I was so excited when the Houston- Water2Wine opened. They have great wine. A much larger selection than most people expect. The best part is that you can try them all. The staff will explain what makes each one different and help you make your selection. My friends and I love it!

We bottled two batches of wine today with family and friends. I couldnt believe how much fun my 3 year old had corking the bottles. Maggie and Glen were awesome, they showed us exactly what we needed to do and we all had a great time. I would recommend this for anyone!

I love the people here at water2wine theyre very helpful, and they are very giving and work with people and anytime you want to learn about wine and pairing them with food, theyre so helpful. I always enjoy myself when I go. They have me hooked!
