Ive gone to this dog park about 5 times now, after living in Texas for only 3 short months. My German shorthaired pointer (GSP) absolutely loves this park and all of the dogs in it. There is always a great number and variety of dogs out there, making it hard for one dog to harass just one other dog. There is a huge lake, except the dogs can swim around the sides of the fence (if they wanted to)....a lot of people have a problem with this, but I dont. If you handle your dog on a daily basis, you should have absolutely no problem keeping them on track and focused enough to not wander off around the fence. This really shouldnt be an issue for anyone. I saw ONE dog go around the fence ONE time, and he immediately swam back around and went back to his owner. Other than this issue some people might have, I still think this dog park is a 5 star park. It is always really clean and kept. Ill definitely be going back for many years.

I love this park and the fact that it also has a dog park where dogs are able to play in the water. There are signs for snakes and gators, but I have yet to see any. The loop is almost 2 miles long and paved, there are workout benches for various exercises sporadically along the trail. There are benches and waterfountains. 2 bathroom facilities can be found on each side (Playground and Dog Park), 2 entrances as well (Barker Cypress Rd, and West Rd). Overall I really love this park.

No shade except for the pavilion. Lots of picnic tables, has play sets that are age rated from 3 to 8+, includes a spider web to climb, overlooks a small lake and it has a 2 mile paved trail around the lake. The park is partially fenced off from the lake. Has permanent bathrooms and a water fountain with paved parking.

I really like this park but the only thing I dislike is the restroom it’s not very neat or clean but everything else is great it has good playground for the kids the play and a place for the adults to exercise and run around there is a beautiful view by the lake i recommend you to visit this park.

I am so glad I live near this park. Regulars come here daily/often to enjoy the lake for fishing, dog parks, childrens playground and very nice walking/biking trail. There are 2 entrances, one off West Rd(Awesome childrens Park) and one off Barker Cypress (Dog Parks & Restrooms)

2 mile walk bike track. Dog Park Large and Small dog areas with water access for dogs. Wash down area for dogs. Permanent restrooms for people. Bass fishing is generally good. Track is narrow and not for fast bicyclist for fine for causal rider/walk/joggers.

Love this park. It offers something for everyone in the family. The playground it well laid out with playsets for ages toddler through tween. There is a running biking trail and a dog park across the water. My daughter and German Shepherd both love it.

Great Park! A lot of people exercising and a few fishing. Went today and the crappie fishing was good, used a fly rod with a small fly. A good amount of Hand sized crappie but not legal to park rules. Caught one mini bass. Bass fishing was poor.

Fished with my kids there yesterday. Very nice park with lots of people doing different activities. The lake was huge but the water is very dirty right now. Im sure its due to all the rain. We had a good time and will be going back soon.

I always run here when training for a race. Clean restrooms and water fountain. Plus a nice playground for my kids to play afterwards. It is patrolled by police what keeps my car and belongings safe.
