It appears that this is one of those places that either misses the mark completely or nails it. Main complaint is service and I completely agree! Argumentative server, lack of concern from the manager on duty, poor timing from the kitchen. We were meeting one of my husband’s coworkers and his wife there for dinner, first meeting socially. We sat outside, it’s a nice patio, but the service was horrible. I wish restaurants would go back to allowing servers to use trays to bring out food. The bottom of a dish should never touch someone’s food. When our salads were brought out mine was sitting on top of my husband’s that just shouldn’t happen. We both had the signature salad it was pretty good. After the salads things got really bad, first the other couple’s flatbread, which was their meal, came out about 15 minutes before our meals came out. So we basically sat there and watched them eat. When ours arrived I immediately found a hair in mine. I called Sylvia, our server over, she said she didn’t see the hair but believed me. My husband saw the hair. When she returned from the kitchen she informed that what I saw was not a hair it was silk from corn. There wasn’t even corn in the dish I ordered. It was a hair; I know what corn silk looks like. We argued back and forth a bit, finally I said, these things happen, to which she replied “Not here. I’ve been here five years and it’s never happened.” Five years? Five years there and more than twice someone from our table had to get up and get something we had asked her for. Five years and she still can’t read the bill? Yep, there’s more. When we got the bill they had removed the salad not the pasta. So she grumbled about that, took the bill and fixed it. As my husband was signing she handed me the copy of the bill and I realized that now there were to large salads on the bill instead of the one we split. My head almost exploded trying to get her to actually look at the entire bill instead of focusing on one line. And through all of this, not once did the manager ever come speak with us. Even while she was standing right next us fixing the bill for the fourth time. And you know, it wasnt really about the hair. Because, those things do happen. Just take the dish and remove it from my bill. Once I find a hair, Im done, I dont want your food. But to stand there and argue with me over what it was, thats just poor. I hope the owner speaks to her about this. So, eat here at your own risk. You might get lucky and be in the group of people with a good experience.

This place is a hidden treasure. Having lived over a decade in Temecula, California Wine Country, I admittedly did not have very high expectations, but was up for the adventure. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Located in a old downtown building that has been updated without destroying the character of the setting. We shared an excellent bottle of Pinot Noir, and the food was scrumptious. The stuffed mushrooms were served smothered in a delicious cheese sauce, and the classic Caesar salad was huge. The fresh mozzarella and local tomato caprese was not quite the same as in Florence, but nonetheless very good. My companion had the pecan-crusted Tilapia (which she shared with me and was delicious), and I had a tender, perfectly done grilled Ribeye prepared with a soy-based marinade faintly reminiscent of the old Steak and Ale Kensington Club. Never expected to find this quality of eatery in Greenville, and we will be back.

Beware of horrible customer service and bait and switch pricing! We want you google users to know about the horrible experience we had at the Greenville location today. We drove 30 miles out of our way today to come here based on the website menu. When we got there the menu listed different pricing and they told us that it was our problem that we looked at the website for their specials. She said "we lost the rights to the website so we cant edit it anymore. Weve been advertising this special for 3 months so I cant do anything" then the turned around walked off without saying anything else. The waiter apologized for the acting manager and said that the normal manager Jason has much better customer service. We most definitely will NOT be back to this location.

My husband and I rented out this venue for our wedding. Ceremony and all.We loved it, even though it was extremely over our budget. Jason, the manager, was extremely helpful. He made some of the most stressful parts a bit easier. The food was amazing, everyone got seconds which was awesome considering we had never eaten there prior to the wedding. The wine was delicious, after the wedding we had to go grab a few bottles. Another wonderful about renting the place was that for our friends that didnt drink wine they could bring in their own beer, the servers just couldnt touch it. all in all, it was a great establishment and I would use it again if we ever needed to! -Mrs. Nesler

Greenville is a great town to visit for food and fun. and Landon Winery and Bistro has improved the selections in this quaint town. Landons is the centerpiece of the downtown square in Greenville. The wine is award winning and the food is better than most destination restaurants. The live music on weekends, out on the fantastic porch, is worth the trip to Landons in Greenville.

My husband and I arrived at 7pm on Sunday afternoon. We were seated in plain view of the woman who was to be our waitress by a perfectly polite gentleman. We waited for 20 minutes without so much as a glass of water or a glance in our direction, and then we left. Its a pity such a beautiful restaurant with at least one good server could not take care of its patrons.

Although the atmosphere is ok, there is no food other than an over priced Cheese Tray, the wine is nothing special and over priced. Sampler is reasonable but again glasses and bottles are over priced for this small town. Save your money and wait until they get some type of food which is my guess will be over priced for a small downtown with limited stores.

What a fantastic place to visit, so much fun. Theres not enough to be said about the owner or this location! Food is great, recommend the signature Yellow Rose. Def recommend the tasting tour. Both the upstairs and downstairs venues are beautiful. Aj and Moe are awesome, efficient, sweet people. Excited to come again :) :D Nov 2016

My mom and I had a lovely Mothers Day brunch yesterday! The food and wine were great, but the main reason for my 5 star rating was our waiter, Arron. Arron provided exceptional service that really made our visit outstanding!

I found this winery through Google and it was wonderful. I was traveling and went in by myself. The staff made me feel very comfortable, the wine & food was delicious and the ambiance was great!!
