Worst Experience ever! I took my 8 year old son to get his first experience at playing golf to Los Lagos. The manager "JOE" would NOT let my son join the camp because there was too many kids. One more one less it should not have been the problem, I was willing and able to pay almost any amount so that my sons first experience would have be a great one together with his friends from school. I read the reviews before i wrote this bad review. It seems to be a constant issue with bad customer service and over all bad atmosphere. There are other places to take lessons like Palm View Golf Coarse in McAllen, they have better reviews and friendly service. LT

I have played every course that looks half way challenging or interesting in the Rio Grande Valley. Los Lagos is without a doubt, the most challenging and interesting course among the 4 or 5 that I think are above average or better. It is well bunkered, a great layout, and well kept. Tierra Santa, River Bend, Treasure Hills, are all reasonable alternatives. It is the toughest among these 4. It is the only course that I would give 5 stars.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Great layout which was a Links style course. Greens are the most important thing for me when playing and were in good shape, rolled true but somewhat slow. Fairways were in great shape as well but off the fairways and sand traps were spotty at best. Overall worth the price at their Twilight rate and would have gotten 4 stars if not for the bunkers. Will play again.

I give this 1 star because according to me and my friends ,this course only has nice houses but nothing is actually private .the course is terrible starting off by size ,it doesnt even have an actual fence just three sticks next to each other to "get a view " but that is just bullshit .if it were for the view people wouldnt care about the fence and would still go like MONTE CRISTO G&CC

Very nice golf course, and very challenging. The missing star is due to lack of starter, lack of ranger to help to keep the pace, and the sand traps should be racked more often.

Best fully public course in the McAllen, Mission, and Edinburg area. A couple holes on the back nine will make you want to come back again and again.

staff is polite, but management is ridiculous! they complain to us customers for the dumbest things. RUINED MY ONLY DAY OFF!
