We loved the music and the singers were AMAZING. I went with my sisters, daughter and mother. My only complaint is why they had to make they had to make some things so explicit and disgusting. Some of that can be left to the imagination!!! the song "Lovely Ladies" did NOT have to have the actions accompanying that song be so ugly. WE were all very uncomfortable and just had to close our eyes. Many parts of a play are left for the audience to imagine in their own minds...why cant the sex moves be left for the imagination as well?

Ive loved each performance Ive seen here. The annual production of A Christmas Carol is always fun. The current show, Hood, is an exhilarating romp. The biggest flaw in the experience are the uncomfortable seats. The staff are friendly and the experience is intimate, no matter what seat squirming in. You can pay for the underground parking, but theres a city lot across the street on Ross. That lot usually has a staff person, so unlike many city lots, you can trust the person (in uniform) with your cash.

Absolutely loved the jazz band, Terrence Blanchard and the E-Collectives, that played at the Wyly theater Jan. 7th at 8pm. It was an amazing experience. Im still on a high from it. The only complaint I have about the theater is the seating. Very cramped and not much space between the rows. And also, all the rows of seats are on the same level...no theater seating. You really cant see the performance comfortably, especially if someone tall sits in front of you. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show.

Simply put, there is not a nicer venue in America to watch a performance of any kind. This is a huge boost to the arts and entertainment district of Dallas, made possible by huge generosity of the founders Dee and Charles Wyly. The parking, the seating, the viewing and even the rapid exiting of the theater were perfectly designed to bring you the ultimate experience as a member of the audience. I highly recommend this theater to anyone!

This is an amazing theater space that hasnt let us down in regards to performances. I am so amazed at the many configurations this place can take on. There is absolutely no bad seat. I buy great seats for the shows I know I want to see and buy the cheaper seats for the shows I am less familiar with. Either way I havent been disappointed yet.

Dallas Theatre Center, winner of the 2017 Tony for regional theater, is amazing! They perform most of their shows in the Wyly Theater and they do creative staging making great use of the flexibility of the theater. Tickets are available in many price ranges making it affordable for almost everyone to enjoy outstanding theater.

The theater was designed from the beginning just for theater productions. It can be reconfigured in many ways for different types of plays and musicals. This includes the seating for the audience which can range from a Broadway style arrangement to a very intimate arrangement.

we will come back here often. We saw the Christmas story which was very well done. I must admit it was a very strange experience having Ebenezer Scrooge as a female. Would not see it again if that were the case. Its a Wonderful story without making such a strange change..

The design makes it easy for each show to have its own custom stage! The set up is usually different every time in order to enhance the performance. The lime green seats and walls give the place an ultra modern feel. Highly recommended this theatre to every one! ✅

Great venue, when the weather is nice they can open theater such that a wall seemingly disappears. They will force you to take sipping cups for all drinks (yes, like a child), be careful Ive found they often leak...ruined a nice white shirt with red wine.

The Dallas performance center is a place most enjoyed by every member of the family. The shows are great and magical its almost like they come to life right before your eyes. The staff is amazing and not to mention the location is outstanding.

Great cozy venue with several floors of attractions. I saw "Constellations: a Love Story" and felt very involved due to the seating configurations. Very moving performance that would have been lost on me in a bigger venue.

Seating is tight not a lot of room. You have to take elevators to get to seating so leaving is a hassle. The actors are great the venue is not the best. Like others said all seats have a decent view.

Im in love with this place. I went to see Les Miserable and I couldnt be more happy about it. The show was everything I wanted and more. The staff at the Wyly Theatre is attentive and nice.

Stunning architecture, noisy lobby, grotesque seats, odd placement of bathrooms, barely adequate elevators, and shows that make you forget all that, at least until you have to pee.

Nice looking theater. Not the most modern but has good sound and good views all around. Seats are slightly small but comfortable enough to sit through a 2 hour show.
