Had good experience with the restaurant (except for the double tip charges). WARNING to others: NEVER give the office your debit/ credit card number for monthly & food dues. Pay all expenses by check or cash. Except for Joe Cotter, the entire office staff will tell you one thing and change their mind to do the opposite over & over. Decided to quit my membership and was told the date it would expire and it was alright to use it up to that date. Used the club only once during that period of paid dues and had to pay an additional month. After dozens of phone calls to the administration (all messages were recorded) never one call returned for months. The most untrained office staff ever. Never before have I dealt with such an incompetent office staff. If it werent for that fact, this club would be a first class operation. Keep written track of any dealings with the staff since you will never know who makes the final decisions. Thank you.

I have been a member here for awhile, and Shay is a good guy, if you want to use a driving range go to northlakes or some place in lewisville. This is a Private Club, people pay to be kept away from the general public. I have never seen kids just playing on the course in the middle of the day, sometimes kids are throwing their football at the edge of their house and the course but it is always after golf is over for the day. I also only see people walking their dogs late at night, never during play. Also the people I see doing that are ones that have been members for a long long time. So if your new I would watch what you say about them and who you say it too. The club is a good place to relax and have dinner or some cocktails. I do not have any complaints. They also have a good pool, tennis courts, and even poker rooms. Plus some great pros at the shop.

Absolutely ridiculous. Making a man take down a flag that represents a group of people that sacrifice daily to protect us ALL! What kind of ignorant people do you have working for you and living in your community that they would call this "offensive and noxious"? I am ashamed to have you in the DFW area, especially since what happened in our own front yard a few weeks ago. You better thank your lucky stars that you can count on your local police to sacrifice their time and effort and more to help you in your time of need. They are a blessing.

You will reverse course! There is no such limit on how many Old Glorys is flown. I did not fight for my Country, my State to have some weak ass pansy infringe on an Americans right to fly the American flag on his property. If anyone is offended by the American flag as a patriotic sysmbol than here is my advice to you. Get out of my Country! As far as your Natzi rules regarding the flying of the American flag...it is unconstitutional for you to infringe on this American for practicing his right.

I live on the course at Oakmont and play there all of the time. The course is in great shape and have always found everyone in the pro shop or the restaurant to be helpful and friendly. The food is the best it has ever been. Dont pay attention to some of the negative comments about the flag. Oakmont CC had nothing to do with it - it was all the Oakmont Country Club estates POA.

If this anti flag story is true, this place should be sued. Enough is enough, we live is AMERICA and if the American flag or pro-law enforcement American flag offends you... too bad! Get over it! Its time we stand up and say enough is enough! What other country doesnt take pride in their flag, what other country finds their flag "offensive"? What have we become?

I called about a membership for use of the driving range since google brought this place up. Well the employee Shay, is an outright rude guy. He suggested I googled driving range and would maybe call Tour 18.... If this is the kind of treatment you get at a private (course is listed as semi-private on several sites btw), Ill never look to buy into this course.

I see a lot of kids playing on the golf course, in addition to dogs running free and people walking their dogs, which is not supposed to be allowed. This past week and weekend, there were kids playing on the number 7 tee every afternoon and evening. I have talked to the General Manager and he says he will handle the situation.

I only ever used the tennis courts, pool and occasionally had lunches at the clubhouse so I cant say much on the quality of the golfing here, but the tennis courts are kept very clean and stocked with water, the pool is decently sized and sanitary and the clubhouse is really nice.

Shame on you for trying to force someone in your community to remove a flag supporting police officers! They deserve our support and do a job every day where no one gives them respect but they are still willing to risk their lives. Shame on You!!

Great tennis and golf! Awesome renovated facilities and a gym! Must be ONE member to use gym but it is worth it! I am a ONE member and use it weekly!
