This is a great place to play golf! I have played multiple times over the last year. Heres my honest review: The GOOD: its a great course; open layout; good driving range and two separate putting greens for practice if chipping, hitting out of sand, and putting; reasonably priced; three different 9 hole courses, each with a different challenging feel. The BAD: the staff is not very welcoming, even rude at times, mostly in the pro shop and on multiple occasions; not a good place for families in that course policy is to make your three year old have to pay greens fee, club rentals (they dont even have kids clubs to rent anyways), and a cart fee to be able to accompany you on the course, I can see the cart fee, but feel the greens fee and club rental charge is excessive. Overall, a great place to play a nice round of golf, just need to get rid of some bad apples in the pro shop and make it a little more family friendly.

This is an awesome course. The greens and fairways are in excellent condition. With that said, all the water is quite challenging for a guy like myself that just started playing golf 8 months ago. Water comes into play on almost every hole. I lost 8 golf balls and scored a 44 on the red, 44 on the white and a 48 on the blue. I usually score anywhere from 90-110 at most 18 hole courses. This is an excellent course for walking as it is relatively flat with wide fairways. Play was a bit slow but I will definitely play this course again.

The staff is incredibly rude, and the regulars are as well. I will never ever spend another dime at this course and will tell my friends to never go there. Do yourself a favor and play somewhere else, anywhere else. Plenty of great courses in the metro area, and trust me Prairie Lakes is not one of them.

There are no sand traps anywhere on this course. I thought the layout was decent but no sand traps make for a boring green visually and for playing. Not sure why you would make a course like this. Price was good and course was in decent shape.

Great course with even better prices! Nearly every hole on the course plays across or along water so be prepared to lose a few balls... Always well kept and you can typically find a great deal if youre flexible with tee times.

Cool driving range. There were military helicopters flying while I was practicing, but I loved it. Bar was cool, didnt try the food but they had a great menu, will be coming back
