I played here many many times in the past three years but not many times this year. However, I played here just one time this year so far and it was still horribly horribly slow. It took us more than 5 hrs for only 16 holes. After we completed 9 holes, we came into the club house ask for rain check for back 9 so we can play some other days but the answer was we dont have 9 holes rate, :) !!! Reason I ever play more than once this year is because this course is over crowded and their tee time interval is so close to each other. So, if you have slow pace player in front of you, which is 99.99% you will face it, it will take you surely more than 5 hrs to complete a round. Doesnt matter you call into the club house to have marshal inspect the pace and whether marshal inspected or not. Slow pace golf still NOT yet fixed after I started to play here since three years ago. Dont get me wrong I like the course and I live just across the street from this course and I manage to play here only once this year and play where else at least once a week!!! I think may be they cant fix slow pace players out here because this course is semi private and those slow pace player are members and they pay big $$$ to be membership. So, those who are not member, they dont care much about you !!!

First, let me say that the golf course itself is fairly well maintained, and the value is not too far below average for the money. However: This is one golf course not worth dealing with. The customer service was TERRIBLE. First, the pro shop employees pretended that we werent there when we needed help. Second, it took our threesome 5:40 to play 17 holes because we were waiting on the two groups in front of us the ENTIRE round. They would not let us play through, and the course marshall, observed this incredibly slow play multiple times, and didnt do a single thing about it. He ignored the issue completely as we fell further behind schedule, and as a result, we didnt even get to finish our round before dark. On top of that, when we drove our golf cart to our car to unload our clubs. The cart boy came out and accused us of bringing in outside alcohol (which we did not do), and informed us that we ever drove our carts into the parking lot again, we would no longer be welcome at the course. All in all a terrible experience. There are FAR to many nice courses in the DFW area to consider ever giving these people your business.

Geat course. Owner is a D-Bag and not very freindly to those in the community but none the less the golf course was great and in great shape. They could water the greens a tad more but i deducted nothing for that cause most public courses have hard greens right now. Only the Country Clubs and Cowboys have soft greens right now. The best the about this course is it is like playing 2 course for the price of one. The front nine is wide open and very driver friendly and if played right you wont lose a single ball. The back nine is a whole different course you will not be able to use the Big Stick at all becuase of all the trees and positioning of the water hazards. you have to use course management or you could and will easily lose a dozen balls on just the back nine alone.

Played this course for the first time today. Course was in good shape. The greens are fairly large, and in good condition (except for a lot of poorly repaired ball-marks - wasnt really an issue, but noticeable). Lots of well raked bunkers. Water on a lot of holes. Nice hole designs, and good elevation changes. The facilities are very nice. Free range balls before the round. A fellow by the last name Kim checked us in, and was very friendly and professional. Asked us how our round was after we were done, and what we thought of the course and greens. At least one reviewer mentioned the course suffering from a bad smell coming from a nearby landfill. We never had that problem. By the way, I do not live here or know anyone at the course. My review is unbiased.

A nice course that can be a bit pricey if you want to play in the morning or weekend. The course is nice, but in reality, the premium green fees are for all the amenities (a really nice clubhouse, fantastic customer service, fantastic bar and grill, etc.). The front nine is pretty open and flat, with water on a few holes with plenty of bunkers lining the greens and fairways. I was impressed with the back 9, which had rolling terrain and some very scenic holes. The course was in pretty good shape with quick fairways and greens.

I had my wedding at Coyote Ridge Golf Club on 2.22.14. It was PERFECT. They did such an amazing job. Barbara worked with us and was so wonderful throughout the entire process. The wedding was everything that I wanted, and they absolutely made it happen. Everything was thought of and taken care of. I would definitely have my wedding here again. The food was amazing and so was the service. Definitely have your event here!

Played today and course was in very good shape. Greens rolled very smooth with plenty of runout in the fairways. I prefer to hit my irons from firm fairways and today was excellent. Played from the tips to get a good experience and it was well played. I play to a low single digit handicap and really enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend course to others visiting from out of town like myself.

The course is great but only from a driving distance from the street because every time you try to play a round after 5pm on a weekday you get told the course is "closed" for one reason or the other. On the other hand the grill is very good and the service there is great! Its just a shame that the golf operations dont fall in line with the actual course and the grill inside the clubhouse.

I have never had a better experience than the first time I played Coyote Ridge. I was greeted at my car by jason, one of the best employees I have ever met, then treated as a king when I stepped into the pro shop, by a young man named Tyler. The course was in great shape, and the food in Grill 19 was the best Ive ever had at a golf course. I will definitely be back again.

The Pros: great course, well kept, good people there, good value for the play. NIce facilities. great food at the bar, some special on drinks most of the time. the Cons: Slow rate of play, you can easily see a 5 hour round and more during peak hours, they squeeze alot and sometime overbook. Small Driving range, Marshalls dont do much

The staff is terrible. I called to make a tee time and was told $55. When I got there they told me $79. I calmly explained I was told $55 and they basically said I was lying. Its a decent course but not worth $79 at all. If you can play for $45 and not deal with the staff, go for it
