Beautiful course with very quick, smooth Champion Bermuda greens, even in the rain. Played yesterday with light rain and breeze and really enjoyed the test. Nice, challenging layout. Gotta stay on the fairway or that rough will ruin your day. The owners were very pleasant and what ever youve heard about John, forget it. Treat the course with respect and use good golf manners and youll really enjoy your round. We especially liked the fact there are no GPS aids on the carts and I dont think this course has been surveyed by Sky Caddy. Love it that way. Just you and the fairway yardage markers. This is now a regular facility for me. Most of the other public facilities in the area cant touch this one.

The model that John set up, and with which Linda still operates today, is the formula that allows us to have the great experience each time we play. I read all of the reviews before I went to this course. The staff was definitely NOT rude to say the least. They have rules for carts and dress but nothing that I have never come across before at a nice golf course. The greens are excellent to say the least. Hard, fast, and true. The course looks wide open but it is very easy to get your self into trouble. If you are looking for just a fun course to play then this is your place. Very nice course. The only downside is that a few holes have houses backed up against them other than that it is awesome.

The course is in good condition but houses within 30 yards of some of the fairways make some holes dicey. The owner is definitely an unpleasant individual who is particularly fond of handing out lifetime bans for intermediate infractions. And be sure you dont show up late or be prepared to be chewed out for missing your tee time by three minutes. But other than that it is still a nice course and fun to play once youre away from the clubhouses prying eyes.

The bermuda greens at Fair Oaks are usually among the best in the Memphis area. The wind ALWAYS blows there, so you have to think about each shot and flighting the ball properly. Very good driving range including short game area with bunker. Very reasonable green fees. One of my favorite places to play in the area.

Golf Course is always in great shape the best in the area no blue jeans at this course its not that kind of place this course is for people who respect the traditions of golf

Rude staff, rude golfers. Wish people would quit moving out here from Shelby county, I am a local and WHAT a difference in down home vs. people not from here.

Fair Oaks has the best greens I have played in the mid-south. The course is very golfer friendly and the customer service and course were fantastic.
