A Private User

If you like being treated like dirt, go here. The staff, especially the young douche who works in the pro shop, is rude... and they act like its a burden to do their job. The course is mediocre at best... and the greens fees are way too high for the quality of the course. I will not go back.

Course is in good shape in June. I had to rent clubs as I was visiting from out of town. The clubs cost as much as the round and they were all cheap beater clubs that didnt match. They didnt even make a full set. Having to play with those really put a damper on the experience.

My favorite city course in Madison, located on the near West side. You can shoot a good score here on 18 from the blue tips, but it will test your ability to shape a shot, blast a drive and make your 10 putts. The residents walking rate is the best deal in the area.

All the above reviews are very course and self centered. I staff is helpful and the course it self is a great muni and if located in a different city would be a private club. I have been a member of a country club and enjoy Odana as much.

Kids and I went X-C-skiing for the first time this winter and had a great time. Although the nice young lady attendant working, treated me like "DIRT"....and I liked it! Im sure that I will be back for more. Thank you!

Good course that is usually able to accomodate walk-ons with little to no difficulty. convenient and inexpensive for the quality and location. enjoy this course 15-20 times per summer. thanks.

Excellent course....excellent service! More than a municipal course. Staff is always courteous and attentive. Bar food and beer selection is good, reasonably priced. Very popular course.

Nice public course. Good drink cart service ok weekends, and typical long greens. Layout is decent, and there is some highway noise on a few holes.

Standard municipal golf course. Unfortunately some of the holes are adjacent to the busy beltline highway. I hate the season pass discount card.

Cross country ski loop is well groomed. Almost entirely flat. The loop gets pretty dull pretty fast.
