If zero stars was an option, I would do zero. We had 6 paying golfers come in and the manager clearly judged us from the moment we walked in. This was a spur of the moment idea to play golf, so we didnt have what youd consider "normal" golfing attire. From the minute we walked in, the gentleman tried to not rent clubs to us because he was "almost out." We agreed to take 3 sets of clubs for our 6 golfers. While enjoying our round of golf, the manager pulled up and had a multitude of excuses for why we werent well liked. From saying we had too many golfers, to saying we had a two hour time limit and even as extreme as saying we were picking up other golfers balls. We payed for 9 holes of golf, we were never told of any two hour time limit. It is not a great feeling to be profiled, judged and run off of a public golf course while we just tried to enjoy a long weekend in Nashville. I would reccomend ANY other golf course in the area. 6 people felt judged, unwelcomed and profiled because our clothing may not have been on par with what they think a golfer should wear. Last time I checked, our money was as good as anyone elses. Please spend your money at a course that treats you like a customer, not a bother.

My husband and I are new to the game of golf and we really enjoy it, so we decided to go to McCabe on our third golf outing. We finished 9 in 2 hours and 15 minutes, which I did not think was bad for newbies. On the 9th hole, a man drove up stating that the people behind us were getting impatient and asked us if we were leaving after that hole. I found this experience very frustrating. We had asked the group behind us if they wanted to play through and they refused, yet they called to the office and complained that we were taking too long. I am not impressed with the "tone" of this course!

Just finished 18 at McCabe GC (Middle & North courses) This was my first experience at this facility and my partner & I were blown away. First rate course with beautiful well maintained fairways and fast greens. The course is challenging without being demonic. We had a blast and we will be back.

The walk up course of course was backed up at the first tee, on a beautiful Saturday morning but by hole three, the pace had thinned out a bit. Its a nice value course to get in some work. Theres a nice variety in hole length but theyre all pretty straight with minimal hazards of which to be wary.

Mccabes fun! Theyve got three 9s. They switch ones the 18 holers and 9 holers are playing. This course is WIDE OPEN! I suck and I rarely lose a ball there. Its usually in really good condition for a public course, and the greens are suprisingly consistent.

Excellent club house and fairways but the greens looked like they were in a hail storm. I have never seen greens that are not never repaired from wedge shots on the green. If they greens were smooth, this would be a nice course. I like the 3 9-hole concept.

Nice municipal course. The fairways are open, greens roll well, and its pretty cheap. Having 27 holes makes it easy to just show up and play with no tee time. Its not a challenging course by any means, but can still offer an enjoyable round of golf.

Easy course, greens arent in good shape, often incredibly crowded and backed up, and bucket of balls is expensive. But they do have three 9-hole courses and the food and drinks are cheap. Good for weekdays as it isnt as crazy.

Picturesque and well kept, but only challenging for newer to mid-level. skill level players. Its pretty inexpensive and the fairways are wide open. Ive enjoyed several weekends here and it has always been an enjoyable time.

3 different well-maintained nine hole courses, a driving range and chipping and putting greens, not too crowded and all at a reasonable price. Cant ask for much more for public city golf.

Great range, 27 holes, and decent traffic. Its just a municipal course though so it can be rough around the edges. Especially in the afternoon with hundreds of divots and ball marks.

Other golfers will pick your ball up if you dont keep an eye on it. Other than that, the course is usually in good shape, with the greens a little beat up and slow.

Course is pretty crowded throughout the day with the courses walk-on policy. Greens and roughs are not kept well. No real challenges to the course.
CH

Good municipal course. Can be crowded and slow especially on the walk up nine where group size is rarely regulated.

Great value, nice course. Most convenient option in the area and the driving range is well orchestrated.

The range is nice. You have to pay at the clubhouse first before you can get your balls though

A public course open year round, with a new driving range built in the last few years.
