Played this course several times since I moved to the area. The course has a great layout and should be fun for all levels of play. Course is a little beat up these days due to the severe summer they have had in Nashville. It has held up better than most in the area. Do not expect a round under 4.5 hours and you will get no help from the rangers if you complain. I played last weekend behind a goup of 14. They let them play as 2 fivesomes and a foursome. After a 2.5 hour front nine I complained to the desk staff and they said they would send out a ranger...where was he on the front 9 ??? We saw the ranger several times but they did NOTHING to move this group along. Luckily for me I was paired up with some really nice guys and had a nice enjoyable 5.25 hour round of golf.

I was in town on business, and I am glad I picked this course to play. The course was in great condition, the staff was super friendly, and reasonably priced. I reserved my tee time online and only paid $34 on a Saturday. This is a pretty challenging course. If you are a long hitter and like to use the driver, this course would be a definite adjustment. I thought I had above average round going (for me) until I got to 18. With a birdie on 17 I was feeling confident. On 18, after hitting over water twice you still have 150 to the hole. If you are wanting to play alone or get a quick round in this may not the place to play on the weekend. Highly recommend.

Visited this course in March so the grass was still dormant except on the greens. A very fun layout. Every hole is different in design and can challenge golfers from every level. Good mixture of wide open and tighter driving holes. Played the gold tees at about 6500 yards. Greens rolled true and quick. Staff were very friendly (yes, even the starter and on-course ranger). Only complaints are concerning the beat up cart paths which explains the rough shape of the carts. Cost me about $21. For that I got the 18 holes of golf, cart, and a meal voucher. Forrest Crossing is an excellent value and worth a visit.

Fantastic value! We paid $32 on a Saturday including greens fee, cart, range balls & lunch. The course is nice. Front nine is very open. Back nine is much more challenging. We played on November 8th, so the grass has gone dormant - just about everything is brown including the greens. We found the greens to be very challenging - fast with plenty of undulations. I would definitely recommend the course - especially with the Fall deal that they have going.

Played a good 18 holes in June. I am not a regular golfer, but found this course fun to play. The holes had some variety, and they were not right on top of each other. There are a few holes with water hazards. It did on seem overly long. Everything was in good shape. Greens were fast but not too hard. The staff was friendly. This is a solid public course, but it does not have any "wow" factor.

Calling this place a cow pasture would be too generous...the cows would starve! The fairways were mud and sparse patches of grass. Playing the tips is really the only option unless you want to hit a lot of irons or 3 woods off the tee. Wont be playing here again no matter how cheap or convenient.

Rickety noisy carts that are hard to turn and . Full of dirt and grass. Beverage cart girl drove by our group twice without stopping. Course layout was decent but a bit pricey at $50. Be careful on hole 10 as its right off the practice range. Good luck finding your ball. Would not play it again.

Most conveniently located public golf course in Franklin area. Played Saturday, December 8th. Enjoyed this round more than most since due to iffy weather, the course had few groups playing. I finished 18 in about 2 1/2 hours and broke 80. Wish that were a more frequent occurrence. :)

Good course. Its easy to loose a few golfballs to the many hazards and in the tall grass. The prices for food in the clubhouse are a little high for a bratwurst, but the food tasted good, facilities are clean, and the staff was friendly.

Fun golf course; I only played the front 9 but really liked the track. Great friendly staff! The island green on #9 was a lot of fun to play. I highly recommend it if youre in town and wanting to play a fun course. Very affordable too.

I play at Forrest Crossing from time to time when I make it down to Franklin. This is a nice course at a good value. The greens are in poor shape currently, but the overall value is good. I will be playing here again.

Pretty uninspiring. Range balls are in terrible condition. Practice facility is ok but the course is no better than a municipal course. But its the only game in town, so it is heavily trafficked. Very slow pace of play.

I really enjoy golf... Just not at Forrest Crossing GC. If not for the rickety golf carts & the Golf Marshall making our 3-some hurry at every hole the experience would have been just mediocre.

Course is fun. They have a Players Club for $29.95 per month that gives you 2 large buckets of balls a day plus discounted fees with lunch and a drink included.

Really nice course for the price. Under 40 dollars to play plus range balls and lunch provided. Great pace of play that the management staff monitors well.
