I was there just last night for a company Christmas dinner. There were around 30-35 present and the reservations had been pre-made. My "Chicken Bercy" was overcooked and dry. 6 of our group were inexplicably delayed in receiving their entrees. At dessert time, 2 of our attendees were not even offered dessert by the servers. When I tried to alert the waitress, Rhonda, of the oversight, she almost barked at me and stated there was no need for me to be mean to her. I was a bit taken back, because that was not my intention at all... I actually tried to apologize for expressing myself in such a way that she could have misunderstood... and she barked again that "You were mean to me!".. Ive NEVER been so addressed by restaurant staff. I will never go back... nor will the company be likely to schedule another meal here, as the President of the company was also offended by her behavior and remarks. Bad food and rude servers are not a good combination if you want to maintain or attract new diners.

We are new to the area and I took my husband here for his birthday. The atmosphere was OK and the service was good, but the food was horrible!!! Fake hollandaise sauce (YUCK!) and sticky mashed potatotes - We both had seafood and it was below our standards as well! Somebody needs to learn how to cook!! The wine and bread were the only decent things that we ate/drank. I dont mind spending $$ for a decent meal, but our bill was between $80-90 and it was pathetic! We will NEVER return and I think the community of Crossville just doesnt know what good food is. Sorry.......

A delicious meal, with great options for people with dietary restrictions! My family of five (ranging from 12-41 y/o) ate lunch there and everyone left full and happy. They had a cheese and chicken and rice soup that my wife straight-up stole from me, and gluten-free buns for a delicious burger. Our server Lauren (Laura?) was helpful without being overeager and was knowledgeable about the menu.

A beautiful fine dining restaurant in Crossville, where the service is exceptional and the food delicious. A little on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for, and in this restaurant, you get the best. This is the place to take your date, on your anniversary, promotion...this is a celebration restaurant. Pay a little extra, soak up the atmosphere, and really treat yourself.

Ive been eating at the Brass Lantern as I come and go on I-40 ever since the Hampton Inn opened across the street. The food has always been good, sometimes very good, as has the service. I enjoy it enough that Ive been arranging my schedule for the past several years to allow me to stay at the Hampton and have dinner at the Brass Lantern.

Nice family restaurant, nothing special. Prices a little high, especially for kids. Service was good, not great. I do not believe they are affiliated with Chestnut winery next door, just same building. Only carry about 2 of their wines. Limited beers, only cans and bottles, none local. Inside could use an updating, but clean.

Had the prime rib special which is on Saturday until they sell out. 19.95 gets you prime rib, with a side and salad. The prime rib was awesome, cooked to my liking. Had chocolate cobbler for desert, it is a chocolate cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. The cobbler was still warm and gooey. We will definitely come back.

Average food that is overpriced. The restaurant added 21% tip for a group of 10. Used to seeing 18% added but the restaurant is as proud of their service as they are their food. While Crossville does not have a huge selection, there are better options available.

Great place for dinner. We had a party of 7, the server was great and the food came out fast. Although the menu is limited everyone in our group raved about how good their meal was. Chelsea our server was great. Definitely recommend.

Excellent, friendly service. Excellent food especially the lamb chops that included fresh veges. Nice sized portions for the price. Sangria was not on the menu but the bartender custom made us one. Highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere, lovely waitress, Lauren, pointed me to the Chestnut Hill Winery, thats connected, for free tasting so I could choose which wine to order. Good food, reasonably priced.
