I will tell u I showed up with a group of people and before I even got 2 feet from my car and my friend pile out some tall guy was yelling at me for wear I parked and when I say yelling I mean yelling ! Not asking me Nicely not to park there or could u please move this is why ! No he was yelling move it or Im towing it I asked him why his answer was cause I said so ! I should of been as much of a ass as he was and left my car there seeing I have government plates ! And its against the law for any tow company or cop to ticket a government car ! And plus seeing u absolutely have no. No parking signs any place there the car next to me he was towing as well I would have u paying the bill seeing there is no signs ! And you wonder why people give your club a bad name its probably the disrespectful people u have working for u and how nasty and rude they are ! I would rather travel the extra 30 mins to go some place where they have respect! I gladly would of moved it if he wasnt so nasty and rude and not yelling at me for no reason at all ! Clearly u didnt want are business at all I work hard for my money and definitely not gonna give it to some place that treats me like that so all 7 of us went some place else to spend are money and enjoyed are self ! I definitely will never recommend your club to anyone who ask ! I myself years ago owned one in New Hampshire and would never allow my help to treat people like that !

It is not much of a "gay" club. More of a GLBT friendly hip hop club. Back when I checked out Club South 29... Most of the music played was hip hop. They even played "im in love with the coco." (baking soda, I got baking soda) The sound system was way too loud. (ear plugs needed) They did have a few drag queens perform. Although there is no real stage for the performers. Just part of the dance floor for them. So people that were not standing up front would have trouble seeing them. Later on after the DJ had been playing new and old (1990s) hip hop songs for awhile...the power went out for the whole building. Including the out door lights. That is when the indoor emergency battery operated lights came on over the exit doors. Apparently the whole place is on one circuit breaker or something like that. Many minutes later they fixed it. Then the club lights came back on. That was about the time I went ahead and left and was walking out to the gravel parking lot. When I got out into the parking lot the music started back. They do have Laser Light Projectors for laser light shows. That was about the most interesting thing going for the club. I could tell that the building use to be like some kind of tool shop work shop. There is a house attached to the building. Although people were not allowed to see that part.

Im one of 3 people who have had their checking accounts charged incorrectly within the past two weeks at this club. Im a loyal patron and club member and I tip well. Myself and two other friends were each charged 40$ incorrectly. Club tab policy is that 40$ will be charged to anyone who doesnt close down their tab. My friends and myself however, did sign and close down each of our tabs. This is 120$ worth of fraudulent charges in the last two weeks. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. All of us will be disputing and having these charges reversed with our banks. If you decide to go to this club please check your purchase records carefully.... I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.

I loved the the crowd. The drinks were great, and it is a good place to end your long week on a Saturday night. However, the manager or owner is a grumpy man who can ruin an experience for you, especially if he doesnt like you. The bar could use a little updating- it is very early 2000s. Ill just put it this way, its not The Cazbah, in downtown Greenville. Advice for South 29? Learn how to treat your guest with quality service. Please tell the grumpy manager or owner, whoever he may be, to learn respect. Lastly, continue to show people how to end a long week and have a great time.

What a fun little club! The drinks were a bit expensive, but the show we saw was phenomenal. Also, the mixed crowd made it much more comfortable. I will definitely return when my friends are performing.
