I have been administering SC state test there all week. On Monday, I meet to on the staff that bent over backwards to help me because my voice became very hoarse. Kieran and Charlisa made sure I had hot tea, and honey with lemons. I was VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEM BOTH, AND VERY FRIENDLY AS SOUTHERN PEOPLE ARE! Well the same problem occurred again Tuesday & Wednesday. Without hesitation, they were on the job as some as I arrived. I had to tell the Manager with them knowing. Other people at the 45 W. Orchard Park Dr. location that have been very helpful include Jacob in maintenance that fix the AC because the room was very hot and the kids were getting sleepy due to the extra warmer weather, Mr. Neal that was taking care of the outside parking lot greeted me with a smile and we chatted about his two little girls, the entire kitchen/restaurant staff has been awesome with me on Thursday as I walked toward the restaurant to get my tea Thursday morning because I felt like I was caught the cold some of the children had but tried their BEST to keep testing. The short Afro-American gentle man about 5 6 tall and small build they brought out the Artisan water was VERY helpful in getting my tea,, hot water and Ms. Vicki rushed to get me 4 lemon slices because she told another employee/colleague that she saw me coming and the employees pointed out that my honey was waiting on the counter. The female custodian with jet black shoulder length hair was CONSTANTLY keeping the bathrooms fresh and clean, especially when a situation developed Wednesday in the female bathroom, she was on point! The Caucasian lady with white short hair and walking with a cane like me, sitting at the front desk and ALL the gentlemen working at the front were ALL AWESOME in helping me to log on to the Hilton guest Wi-Fi! The lobby was very spacious, and clean. I just wish their were move of the big Wing back chairs because of all the parents and small kids waiting on the students, but thats not a complaint, just an observation. I wish for my 50th birthday July 26 that I could stay there for the real overall experience, but Im sure I couldnt afford the cost, which I dont know, or if they give discount to State Employees? But thank you Greenville Hilton for hiring EXCELLENT PEOPLE ON YOUR STAFF! Althea Aiken from Hodges, SC. I just wander who will help me when I return for the final day of testing. I already know Kieran will greet me. He loves his career there and he even said so to me on Tuesday. It must be nice having a STRESS FREE CAREER! To the Manager I spoke with on Wednesday, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK WITH YOUR STAFF! AWESOME PLACE!!

Consistently terrible Internet speed. As a semi-frequent business traveler, I really just want 2 things: a clean room and decent internet speed. The facilities and staff at the Hilton Greenville are on par with other Hilton hotels, which is to say above average. The internet speed, however, is slow almost to the point of being unusable, and has been all 3 times I have stayed here. At 5:30 on a Tuesday afternoon I am getting .3Mbps down and .2Mbps upload. Last time I was here I capped out at .1Mbps during the peak early evening time. Forget about catching up on any TV shows via Netflix/streaming. You will curse colleagues who send you large attachments. Even simple browsing loads pages so slow as to evoke memories of dialup. There is no wired ethernet alternative. Hilton, fix the problem at this property! Last time I was here you were sold out, and I had to stay across the street at the Hyatt Place, which had smoking-fast 6Mbps internet speeds and very nice rooms to boot. If I werent so tied to Hilton points and status I would definitely stay there, but Ill bet you are turning off a lot of others who are not as committed.

Edit: the desk has taken care of the issue. New room was given and old room was taken out of service. Quick response was very appreciated. First time this has happened and I hope it is not a common occurrence at Hiltons. We got the double bed, but when we walked in noticed gum stains on the carpet. Mold in the bathroom with cracked tiles along the wall. Probably where the mold is coming from...behind the tiles since they werent sealed appropriately. No microwave, which Ive had at hotels a quarter of the cost of this hotel. Expected much better from hilton and very disappointed. Certainly will never stay at this place again. If you get room 507 run away. Im sure the La Quinta across the street is better...

I can not give this Hilton more than a 2 star rating. The diamond club member breakfast was not even as good as the hot complimentary breakfasts I normally received at a hotel with a national rating of 2.5 stars. The hotel and room was clean even though there was a dirty sock (that did not belong to me) left right out in the open when I checked into my room. Overall the facility was ok but not worth the full price of a Hilton. Could not understand one of the front desk people and had to constantly have one of the other desk clerks repeat what was said. Some of the desk staff on another occasion when language wasnt an issue, had an arrogant attitude. The rest of the Hotel staff was very friendly.

I had a terrible experience with an organization that was renting a banquet room during my stay. A person involved with the organization renting the banquet room was very aggressive and hostile towards me, for reasons unbeknownst to me. I never spoke to the women and she tried to approach my car and yell at me as I was leaving. When I tried to address the situation with the general manager he was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was very disappointed that I paid good money for my stay and was treated in such a reproachable manner. Because of the complete lack of professionalism and empathy exhibited by the General Manager of this location, I will NOT stay in this hotel ever again.

Not What I Expected...Ms. Henderson was very nonchalant about customer service and the issues that was going on at the hotel. (Ms. Henderson even gave me the 1 800 number to Hilton) She basically stated that since I checked in early I shouldnt complain about their credit card machine not authorizing or the TV not working when I checked in. Trust me, normally I would be happy with an early check in, but her attitude and poor customer service just rubbed me the wrong way. This is not what I expected from a Hilton. She never apologized. However, Krystal, Front Desk Manager , recovery was awesome. Great Customer Service

This is the worst hotel i ever work in my life. The managers they treat you as a slave here. Then they look for the favorite manager there, David is one of them that when you tell something to him about Rosann and Veronica he dont do nothing about it he cover them alot to them. Why was the reason the real good housekeeping the left cause Veronica and rosann cause you cant trust them even David. They dont good as a managers and supervisors cause the way they treat they employees they dont appreciate nothing we do at this job this is the reason people left cause they dont appreciate nothing at all......
