If we could give this venue more than 5 stars, we would! My husband and I can not thank the owners and entire staff at 1930 Grande Room enough for making our wedding more than incredible! Jenn & her team are amazing to say the least! From their attention to detail, promptness to responding to emails/calls, and their welcoming, flexible, and attentive staff, to the quality of service they provide...it all helped to make our wedding day more than we could have dreamed of! We looked at this venue 1 week after our engagement and knew from the start that it was the venue for us! We loved the "open canvas" the venue provides, including the white walls, black flooring, open dance floor, DJ booth, marble-top bar, chandeliers, lighting, chiavari chairs, cocktail hour area, and open kitchen concept (with StoneChef catering which was also impressive on its own), we knew we could make our wedding exactly what we wanted it to be and within our budget! They were impeccable at flipping the venue from wedding ceremony to reception all within the time-frame of the cocktail hour and without skipping over any detail. I am still impressed on how they do it and (to my surprise) they even had staff waiting on me and my groom the entire night to ensure we were taken care of from beginning to end! Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and how beautiful it was! If you want responsiveness, professionalism, flexibility, quality, genuineness, perfection, and fun at a good price, look no further than 1930 Grande Room. We would recommend Jenn Sanschagrin (and her husband Anthony with StoneChef) to anyone for future weddings and special events!

Im appalled at this review about StoneChef Events & Catering at 1930 grande room . Ive been a chef here for several years.! I have never heard of such rude and unnecessary classless remarks. Chef Anthony and everyone on the team broke our backs to make your event go off without a hitch, even when you should no empathy what so ever for guest leaving with the EMTs that you wanted no part of. In fact it was Chef Anthony that carried her into the other room to comfort her. While you were in Layla land!!!! You had the nerve to accuse us of stealing your raffle presents that you didnt even give away. After guests had paid for them. You are truly an unprofessional person! This whole staff doesnt deserve your kind of backlash for an event that you were late too and fell short from being successful. And to make my boss seem to be a racist is crazy considering Im African-American and we have Asians and Hispanic and Multiple other African-Americans that work here. kind of sounds like your the racist!!! I also find it funny out you leave out the part of your business partner or main contributors sponsor, what ever you are to call him is MFing my boss and getting all in his face and trying hood rat him to start a fight with him that night and you just conveniently leave that out of your review Tameki "MIA2theBay you should stop promoting racial Hatred for especially being a black woman yourself !!! PS! His BBF is a brother as well as many of his friends including myself and so many other. Sister you should just be godly and move on. God bless you and I hope he helps you find yourself. The venue is elegant and nice but staff needs better customer service and more help. We were told their green room held 20 vendors and when my vendors came to set up only 8 were able to set up out of 13. It caused a major headache and money lost on our end since we had to turn vendors around. I had a raffle gift missing after the event and requested to see video from their security cameras to see who possibly could have took it. The owner Chef Anthony said "video was only for their eyes" nothing stated in the contract that venue isnt responsible for missing items so this should have been something I should have been able to review to catch who took our raffle gift. The gift was worth $120 and the owners didnt even try to find out who took it from their establishment. I would never do business here again owners talk to you nasty and I believe if you are black Chef Anthony has a problem with that. I say this because he cursed at me as well as shooed me off about the missing raffle and blamed it on my guest. They are short of staff and none of the furniture was set out after giving them a floor plan of everything days before. Good luck to anyone else using this venue. ..

We had our wedding at the 1930 Grande Room and I am so glad that we did. Jennifer and Anthony (the owners, event coordinator, and executive chef) are a dynamic couple that works extremely hard and goes above and beyond for their couples. Our wedding was so fun and they took care of everything. It was important to me that I find a venue I could trust setting up our wedding and it was even better than I could imagine. I wish I could upload pictures! They worked with us all along the way, helped us plan our event, coordinated with our vendors, and made the space look spectacular. Our guests still rave about how elegant everything looked and how much fun they had. The food was delicious and I loved that there was so many options for us to choose from. As for prices, they are very affordable when you look at everything that is included and we found their prices comparable to other great venues in the area (if not better). And they are located in ybor which is beautiful and historic in and of itself. If you want a vendor you can trust and a great team to work with choose the 1930 Grande Room and you will not be disappointed with your event.

The 1930 Grande Room was everything I wanted in a venue and so much more. With the white walls, high ceilings, black concrete floors, chandeliers, and granite bar, the 1930 Grande Room made for a classy and sophisticated backdrop for my black & white themed wedding. With a black & white theme such as mine, your typical hotel ballroom with loud carpet and a color palette that is dictated to you just wouldnt do. Not to mention, the very cool Ybor City location! Even better than the venue itself, was their Event Coordinator, Melissa. Melissa was very well organized and detail oriented along with having a creative flair for making events magical. What amazed me about Melissa is that shes probably put on hundreds of weddings in her lifetime and still boils over with passion and enthusiasm for her job. We loved Melissa!

We found this venue 4 weeks before our planned wedding date. Jenny worked SO hard to ensure all the details we hadnt even thought about were amazing and on point! Chef Anthony and his staff did an incredible job with our custom menu and we really could not be more satisfied with the level of service they gave us on our big day. We had a small budget and they were able to exceed every imaginable expectation with what they were given budget wise! If youre looking for a cool wedding venue and great food this is THE place!!

Terribly UNPROFESSIONAL!! Cancelled on my wedding the day before because "they didnt feel like they could live up to my expectations!" They are horrible liars and thieves. BRIDES BEWARE! Do your research! There are bad reviews all over the internet. Trust your gut!
