Embassy Suites Tampa-Brandon and ALL of their staff are absolutely AMAZING!!! My husband and I had such a great experience from the very beginning with Kayla. She allowed us to visit the hotel multiple times and see the ballroom when it was set up for another event. I felt comfortable emailing Kayla any questions I had and she responded promptly. She was amazing to work with and helped us plan our special day :) The day before the wedding myself and many of our guests booked rooms and they are very spacious, comfy and clean! The front desk staff was the best; very friendly and accommodating. The day of my wedding I was not worried at all about my reception because Joe and his amazing staff took care of everything! All I had to do was give them my items for the reception! I can not say enough about how wonderful they are. Joe kept checking on me throughout the day. He kept asking if I had enough to eat and if there was anything I needed. He is so genuine and perfect for his job! I was able to just focus on enjoying my day. As for the reception, it was everything I had dreamed of and more. This is all due to Joe and his staff. All of our guests commented to my husband and I about how great the staff was and how beautiful the reception was. My Uncle asked where he could find a cup of coffee. Joe immediately brought my Uncle coffee. My 3 year old nephew didnt like the dinner we ordered for him. The staff brought him a chicken finger plate instead and he gobbled it up! After our reception the staff packed everything up and put it in a secure office until the next morning. When my husband and I went upstairs there were chocolate covered strawberries and wine. These are just a handful of examples from an incredible night! The next morning Joe and one of the front desk staff helped us take everything to our car. I would recommend the Embassy Suites Tampa-Brandon to everyone! Thank you again for making my day wonderful!

Do NOT book event here !!! We just recently held an event at this embassy suites in December. I booked the event in 2010 and with in a year, we went through 3 sales coordinators. Everytime I called there was someone new. Everything that was promised was never written down and were missing the evening of our event. There was supposed to be a sales coordinator there, the evening of the event and no one was there. Our videographer and DJ, were doing everything to help and find the servers. The main issue we had is the sales coordinator and general manager did not care. We explained what happened that evening, and they made us feel like we just didnt matter anymore. They didnt care to hear about our experience and were not apologetic in any way. They said they didnt charge us for a few items, but somehow the final cost was still the same as it was before. We just wanted to speak with them in person to see the break down and the sales coordinator just blew us off and said its a done and theres no need to discuss it any further. All we wanted was a 15 minute meeting to discuss and go over everthing. Communication was done through email, because the sales coordinator didnt want to call us back. The general manager was even included on the emails and we never even received an apology from him. I believe he was on vacation. BUT, when he came back, he just deleted the email. (Read receipt..gives you this info). Nice. So now I see why there is so much turnover at this hotel. You have to have to have the personality of being cold and heartless. I recommend never booking an event here or even booking a room. Customers should not be treated this way.

I came to Brandon on a family vacation, and we decided to stay here at the Embassy because that is usually one of the better hotels especially for family gatherings. Well, my family and I stayed the entire week here and paid a ton of money for HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! UGGH, the first night was good but night 2 through 6 a nightmare. Our room was nice, it was big however the rooms werent getting cleaned and if they did it wasnt until late in the evening. My mother had to sit out in the lobby and wait for them to finish. After the first complaint, housekeeping would make up the bed but not vacuum and left the chairs scattered about in the room. So one night we HAD TO call someone up to vacuum after noticing a roach because we had small kids who had a few crumbs on the floor, the guy who came up had an attitude and informed us that he was NOT HOUSEKEEPING... but he vacuumed the floor. Once we went down to the front desk to tell them of this problem (the housekeeping service) the guy tried to resolve it by giving us a lower rate, however when I was charged I was charged for more than what the receipt had. Ive never encountered these problems staying at an Embassy Suites, but next time Ill think twice. For the money you pay to stay here, the service you receive is not worth it. Yes the building is beautiful, the lobby is nice, but your rooms wont be cleaned, the bathroom wont be cleaned, and the floors wont be vacuumed. Next time I guess we better pack a vacuum and some Clorox and do it ourselves!

This was our second stay there and I must say that this time around we were VERY disappointed, you can clearly see that its starting to go down hill. I was told that there has been a change in management especially in the house keeping department which would explain why my room was never cleaned as well as never being properly stocked considering that we paid for the extras. When I brought it to the attention of the house keeping supervisor she basically called my wife and I liars and rudely walked away. I then asked to speak with the manager in charge but after waiting 20 minutes they send the chief engineer out instead to speak with me who then says that hes part of management so hell handle my complaint. I explain what happened and long story short he offered to comp me 2 days for my trouble, sounds great right? WRONG!! Its been over a month and NOTHING, when I called him he will no longer honor the original deal of comping us the 2 days, hes now offering us a discount on the next time we stay there....lol...after I finished laughing I told him to keep his useless discount for I would NEVER stay there again. I should be charging them for the cleaning supplies that I had to purchase to clean my own suite. Well good luck to you all!

Have you ever heard the phrase a home away from home? That was my experience at Embassy Suites Brandon, FL. My experience began at check in with the front desk staff and continued to the evening reception with one of the most amazing bartenders I have ever met in a hotel environment. Next, I decided to take a swim. The water was soft and felt like bath water. The first time in more than 10 years I was able take a late night relaxing swim. Amazing is an understatement. At this point everyone was so helpful that I felt like a visiting relative. Finally, I went to the cook to order breakfast event and felt like the staff had some kind of 6th sense about what I would like to eat. Molly was very helpful explaining what items were available at each breakfast station. Her smile, politeness, and professionalism were refreshing not only to me but all the guests. If you truly want to visit Tampa with a relaxing home away home experience this would be the hotel of choice, Embassy Suites Brandon. The next best thing to being there.
