Great selection of beers. The IPA was my favorite with a good balance between initial bitterness and hoppy finish and aroma. As an all grain home brewer and BJCP judge, I tend to evaluate beers based on style guidelines and their beers do a good job of hitting their targets. Their lager was nice and being a good measure of a brewery s skills. I was lucky to meet the brewers at the bar and talk techniques with them and discover one of the brewers made meads as well....one thing I enjoy brewing. Make a point of visiting these guys if youre in the area.

No dedicated walk up line at the bar. Why? Why is this not a thing? Like only two breweries Ive been to have ever had this and palmetto was not one of them. After we fought through the crowd and forced ourselves up to the bar the beer was good. They had about 10 beers on tap and a good range of styles. Live music outside was loud which forced a lot of people inside so there was really no place to escape. It was ok.

Great local brewery serving all palatable beers. Several "basic" brews along with a couple of IPAs were on tap during my visit. Staff was very hospitable and the main brewer was more then happy to talk beer and his brewing process, for those brewers looking for brewing tips Beer was clean and crisp, definitely a great stop for those looking to try a great local brewery.

Ive been to 225+ breweries and brewpubs. Palmetto had decent, clean beer - but they typically stick to traditional styles. The bartenders were friendly, and the taproom space was inviting. I was really impressed with their digital tap list that showed how much beer was left in each keg - first time Ive seen this. Overall, this is a great place for some beers.

Extremely friendly bartenders. A warm, somewhat ski lodge-like vibe. Went on a colder day so the patio was not being used. The flights are reasonably priced at $8-10 with generous pours. The magic juice was light despite the 9.5% abv. Looking forward to going back!

I was impressed with the beer... they are well dialed in. (with so many elementary micros popping up everywhere, it can be hard to find great craft beer.) The layout is nice, staff is friendly. -Weird hours... check that they are actually open before you go.-

Awesome place! Great beer made right on the premises! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Im a fan of IPAs and the Huger Street IPA is fantastic! I also had the limited release porter which was chocolatey and delicious!! I highly recommend this place!!

Loved the beer and the venue. The 6 oz pour option was awesome for my girlfriend. She likes beer but its hard to get her to go to a beer place where she can only get a pint at a time. Also OMG DOGS EVERYWHERE AWESOME

Great place to grab a drink and Saturdays has awesome music. the head of brewery operations is a really nice guy. Coffee place next door has great coffee too. Must go to place if a beer lover in Charleston.

The atmosphere.... All in all, the garden area is very accommodating for all settings, kids, pets, singles, couples, partys, you name it. The staff is sooo social! The beer, just come and try it!!!
