Played course at 10AM and surprised to see parking lot empty. At end of round asked and was told because of one horrible review. That prompted this review : I play 3-4 times a week at courses all over PGH area within a 45 mile radius! Anyone knows the recent torrential rains and baking sun has nearly destroyed many courses. Some are almost unplayable. All of Riverviews greens are in great shape. The fairways have areas burned out but good lies are found rolling the ball less than a foot. Half the sand traps had some water from the rain 3 days ago but major work is being done on them. I will definitely be back very soon. Oh, at $25 bucks on top of everything it is hard to beat.

Nice course. Maintenance is pretty good. Bar/restaurant has good turn options and courteous staff. Can appear dumpy at times. Course starters are grumpy/pushy. Many carts are ratty. A good round for the price. Also, despite the name, there is NO river view.

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE. They charge $40 to play a mud pit. The course looks nothing like the photos on their website. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. Below is a picture of the "fairway" on #5. Awful just awful
