I grew up in the neighborhood(53rd Ave), and went to Woodstock Elem. in the early 70s, played baseball for Sunrise Little League, hung out at the park in the summers, thanks to Neal and Kathy, the park advisors. Tennis golf, softball, and gimp all summer long. I was a park rat alright, grew up the "right way", 22 cent hamburgers at the Artic Circle by Fred Meyers. Good friends in the neighborhood, loved that park, and all the people who lived close by. Thanks Ms. Riggs for all the memories. I live in Honolulu now, married with two kids. Bryan Terauchi

great little park in a nice area. the fact that its right by a school makes it a really family friendly park. tennis and basketball courts. They have portable restrooms, thats always a plus. its right by bus 10 and 71. a short walk to Woodstock gets you to bus 19 and 75. so you can get around easily. one of my favorite parks in SE Portland for sure.

Nice off leash dog park. No features at all for the dogs, but probably one of the largest open areas dedicated to dogs, so they can get a real proper run. Not really usable in the wet months as it becomes just a pure mud pit up top. Careful your dog doesnt run far to the south and spook the children on the playground right there.

This is my go to cardio spot i love it i have alot of personal history here i played baseball from teeball to the majors for sunrise little league and i loved it this place is great for a run or to walk its a nice size and very cool enviorment

A couple different playgrounds, including the elementary school. Also, a large unfenced off leash area for dogs. This park is especially beautiful in the fall when the leaves are neon yellow and red.

Lots of nice trees and green space. Dogs can be an issue as they tend to be very outside the off leash boundaries. Occasionally there are homeless individuals that can be aggressive.

This is a beautiful park with rolling hills, towering trees, two baseball diamonds, and a fun playground. Its one of the best parks in the area for sure.
