This venue was difficult to work with. If you want to do all the planning/setup and use the blank space, maybe. Be prepared to clean the bathrooms, sofas, and whatever is left dirty from the night before. The place is cheap to rent- I get that. You get exactly what you pay for...10$ IKEA side tables and all. They will say we do events like this every day which the intent is to put you at ease but in end makes you feel like your event is insignificant. We were told all the tables, chairs, linens, etc., would be set up so when my florist and coordinators showed up at 1pm they could add all the special details. We were told we were not allowed to hit the scene until 1pm, but NOTHING was ready for us when we arrived. Westcoast event productions was wonderful and really saved the day. WCEP staff spent additional time setting up for us when Urban studios staff was no where to be found. The experience was full of frustration. I will not recommend US to any bride as there is already enough stress associated with the planning process. To top it off, Urban studios management doesnt care how events turn out. They took weeks to respond to our complaints. We had 4 different people with multiple complaints about their side of the process- the day of coordinator, the wedding event coordinator, the florist, and the bride. Our concerns were disregarded.

If you are planning an event, you must have it at Urban Studio. We had our wedding reception here and it was by far the best venue I have ever come across. Not only did they do a fantastic job organizing every single detail, but they walked through each item of the event so we knew exactly what we were paying for and how the event would be set up. The staff was amazing and the coordinator Annette was by far the most amazing person to work with. She made my day feel as special as if it was her day! Jason helped the day of and even in the middle of a snowstorm made it the most memorable day ever. The event is so classy and beautiful inside. The lighting, furniture, and set up made for enough space for talking, dancing, and eating, in addition to beautiful photos! The catering by Pearl Catering was off the charts good. We had a lot of crazy foodies at the reception that would not stop talking about how incredible the food was. It came out hot, on time, and delicious. The presentation alone was to die for. The bartenders and servers went over and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of, even if it wasnt there exact job. I had no stress or worries on my wedding day thanks to Urban Studio and Pearl Catering. I will use them again in the future and highly recommend you do the same. What professionals! Thank you!

I fell in love with Urban Studio the minute I walked in. The space is gorgeous! The crystal chandeliers- beautiful, the large windows , the built in bar- very contemporary and the neutral colors were just what I wanted. My wedding day was truly the single most wonderful day in my life. My husband and I cannot thank the staff enough for all that they did for us. They created a signature cocktail for us to match the light green accent color which was delicious . My mother forgot the candles for our ceremony and one of the servers went to the store and came back with candles for us (just in the nick of time). We had our ceremony and reception in the same area and without skipping a beat the room was set for dinner. I recieved multiple raves about the food... the salmon was delicious! The day was an amamzing whirlwind and I wouldnt change a thing. Wedding: 03/03/2013

We held our annual Holiday Party at Urban Studio and it was absolutely beautiful. Kelly, our coordinator made the experience enjoyable, from booking the event, to tasting the food, picking out the decor, setting up for us and taking care of us every step of the way. It far exceeded my expectations, and I havent even mentioned the food yet. Our staff couldnt stop raving about how delicious the food was; Meat so tender you could cut it with your fork and unyielding cheesy potatoes, Yum! Impeccable. Definitely a tremendous experience from start to finish. Thank you Kelly, Pearl Catering, and Urban Studio.

My husband and I recently got married at urban studio. It was lovely. Not much decor was needed, the food was amazing, and the service was great! It was a pleasure to work with Via. She made everything easy and everything went smoothly. We changed our minds often and she just made the changes with no complaints. She handled all of the rentals which made the whole thing so easy. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone !
