I have to give TaborSpace five stars for what it sometimes is, which is a warm, comfortable, quiet environment in which to enjoy some peace while sipping some of the best coffee drinks in Portland, created by some of the nicest, most creative baristas in Portland. I cant fault the space for the complete lack of consideration on the part of groups of socio-eonomically bankrupt mothers who sometimes turn this wonderful place into an un-managed, unsupervised Romper Room, filling it with undisciplined, obnoxious rug-rats. I suggest calling ahead, as I will in the future.

I agree with the last user, this place is a gem! A great meeting place with many areas to sit, chat, study, or work. As their website states, they are a community coffee house in the heart of Mt Tabor. Community down to the very sense that they are a non-profit volunteer run organization. Besides a donation of cash at the time you get your coffee or sweet, they also accept google checkout donations. We enjoyed a great WordPress bloggers meeting today in Muir Hall and it was perfect. Also, bus line 15 picks up right across the street ;)

This is my go to spot for getting work done outside of my office. The space is very comfortable, the coffee shop has great coffee and the people are all very friendly. The communal space is not always open, sometimes it is rented out for events, but it does appear they keep the status of the space updated on their website. I highly recommend stopping by for a cup of coffee if you are looking for a new spot to relax or get a little work done away from your home or office.

Had my baby shower here in the muir room, said it had ac but no ac in room, just windows and they offered a fan and another if needed, it was a big room in a church but online showed it as a coffee shop. Very friendly staff, they provided all tables and chairs. It was a nice place. There was a church parking lot of not full or street parking.

Ive been to a couple groups in the rented spaces and its always very clean and they have plenty of tables and chairs. Theres a lot of different groups that meet there, from music and singing lessons to emotional support, and Im grateful to the staff at TaborSpace for being so welcoming.

Nice place my best friend had her baby shower here but the room was supposed to br updated (wall paper) before our event and it wasnt which was unfortunate as the paper was peeling and we had to cover it with our own decorations otherwise it would have been perfect

Quiet, calm. Polite straightforward staff. Wasnt sure how the coffee would be with a non-profit driven business, but the baristas do a good job. Smooth profile. Nossa familia seems to be their roaster for espresso right now.

Excellent atmosphere place to sit and be creative. Great little kids play area. This place it setup for moms to meet and that is awesome. Standard Portland-roasted coffee with young aspiring baristas who do a great job.

Not sure about the interior space. This was an afternoon of games and fun in the yard space. Parking was convenient. The yard or green space felt save to have kids roam around on their own. The grass was easy to walk on.

Beautiful space! I love the fact that it is all donation! They serve Ristretto which is usually fantastic, but I believe the shots were pulled a little over-extracted. Otherwise, I hope to return soon!

Excellent coffee, friendly baristas, and has a large, comfortable seating area separated from the churchs sanctuary but aesthetically similar. Great wifi, tons of power plugs along the walls.
