If I could give negative stars on here, I would. I dont normally do this but Ive been going back and forth with it for quite awhile now. I just have to express my frustration and disappointment with our venue Cedar Springs for the wedding. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue with awful owners who made the rehearsal, day/night of and after a complete nightmare for our guests and family. We have had MULTIPLE complaints from vendors, guests and family now over Betsy (the owner) and her disrespect and continuous lies. I dont ever play this card because Ive never had to nor do I ever want to, but if you look at their website and their Facebook, Kenzie and Is wedding is the only wedding they dont post pictures of for all the weddings they do. The only thing we can think of, is their lack of respect for gay couples and their way of discriminating is to disrespect us, our guests and our family. We cant think of any other reasons as to why we received this treatment BEFORE the wedding even happened and why it continued day/night of. We just want to apologize to our family, friends and vendors who attended the wedding for Betsys attitude and her numerous rude comments to some of you. Had we known this was going to be how she acted, we would have celebrated our special day elsewhere. We have voiced our concern to her for her to come back and claim a bunch of lies about us going against the contract and that she is also keeping our deposit. It is so shocking because all their reviews we read before we put our deposit down to book this venue were so great. Everyone stated they loved the staff and that they went above and beyond for their couples and guests and Kenzie and I received the EXACT opposite treatment. Just for those out there who may want to book this venue, really be aware that the owners you get at the open house who want your money and who tell you what you want to hear is NOT the same owners and staff you get later on down the road. Again, family and friends who were snapped at or disrespected by Betsy and her crew the night of the wedding, were sorry.

My best friend is getting married soon and this will be her venue. Its a BEAUTIFUL venue in Port Orchard. I met the owner very briefly, but she was SUPER kind! She also has a big, friendly dog that is super adorable. The venue itself as I said is super beautiful, and can accommodate a smaller, more intimate wedding. The ceremony area is on its own little island surrounded by water and connected by a bridge. I was told there was an option to use a small boat for pictures too! There is a gazebo that is typically used for the reception area, and there are TONS of great photo spots all around the area. The only thing is that its SUPER hard to find, all there is is a small sign at the end of the driveway, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

This is one of the greatest venues I have had the privilege of both attending events as well as being part of a wedding. The owners of the venue Betsy was very helpful through the rehearsal process letting us know what has worked best in the past weddings they have had and they make the wedding day as easy as possible for you setting up all the chairs for reception and tables and chairs for the eating area. Thursday we went there and they were mowing the lawn and getting everything ready looking its best for the weekend events. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a venue for an event.

My husband and I got married at Cedar Springs almost 3 years ago now and it was beyond perfect! The venue was beautiful and Betsy went above and beyond to make sure we had the smoothest lead up and the most beautiful and stress free wedding day! Since our wedding we have been back as guest and the venue has only become more beautiful. Her daughter, Lindsey, was a perfect addition to the Cedar Springs team and you can see the pride and love that is put into Cedar Springs. If youre looking for a private outdoor beautiful venue I highly reccomend Cedar Springs! You will not be disappointed!!

Cedar Springs is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. The natural elegance and beauty far exceeds any expectations. The location is exquisite for wedding photos as the property is maintained beautifully down to every detail. We have attended several weddings at this location and this is a family owned venue with the most attentive and detail oriented staff/family. They listen carefully to the vision of the customers and work diligently to perfect this down to every tiny detail. The food is also absolutely amazing. We highly recommend this location!!!!!

I had the opportunity to be a bridesmaid here over the summer and a bride 5 years ago. This place is truly stunning and has only improved the longer Betsy and her family has owned it. How many other places have a fire pit, a giant wooden swing, ponds and wildlife to admire? Im guessing not many. The owners truly care about youre experience and do everything in their power to ensure your day is perfect, even if glitches happen and that responsibility isnt necessarily theirs. I highly recommend this place!!

I attended a wedding here last week and couldnt be more impressed. Not only were the grounds gorgeous and well maintained but the staff were professional and helpful. When we arrived they had everything set up and even provided us with extra linens when we realized we had forgot linens for the DJ and gift table. The place is like something from a fairy tale. The only down side is that the dressing rooms are on the smaller size. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get married.

After attending multiple events at Cedar Springs I cant say enough how much I love this venue! It is absolutely beautiful! Its like walking into a fairytale. The lush gardens, well maintained grounds, and amazing staff make this an ideal location for any event. We loved the delicious food and overall ambiance of Cedar Springs. You can tell the local owners take pride in this property and in what they do. We recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a beautiful, classy event.

I was there for a wedding. The owner is rude, her daughter is rude. For spending top dollar on a venue you think the owners would let you decide how to set things up, how to run you wedding rehearsal and ceremony. The pictures you see arent really like that, they are Photoshoped. The plus, it is a nice place. Needs lots of repairs. Im not sure about they catering service, the way the clean the dishes, there food storage area, not clean.

Very kind owners who really let it show that they love what they do and take a lot of pride in their venue. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding there this summer and it was the most easy-going experience (which is amazing if youve ever been involved in setting up a wedding!) and it was absolutely stunning. They were so friendly and accommodating to a huge guest list. I wish I had been familiar with them when I got married!
