When you enter they hand you a book of their cocktails. Yes, a book. They infuse their own vodka, gin and tequilas with a variety of sweet and savory flavors creating a plethora of cocktail possibilities! Challenge yourself and try one of the savory ones! Other than that, the place is ok, gets too crowded with clubby types (even though it is not at all big enough to dance in) on the weekends but the salads are good and bartenders pretty.

Probably my favorite bar on Mississippi. It has an atmosphere like no other, the large saltwater aquariums are everywhere and so fun to watch. The music is pretty loud but always pretty good. Beers are not plentiful, the taps are limited. Their infused cocktails are tasty though. Also if you can find the special fish, you get a free drink. The legendary Timothy tells me they have the best barfood in Portland. Thats high praise.

Fabulous new bar at the top of the Thompson Hotel. We went after dinner on a rainy Wednesday night, so the outside deck (which looks incredible) was empty but even inside this was a treat. Cool but comfortable furniture, friendly and knowledgeable service, and first-rate cocktails. Heck, come here just for the hand-cut ice they put in the old fashioneds. Cant wait to come back on a late summer evening.

I like this place. It has an odd aesthetic. It’s like new wave grunge… It’s grimy yet modern… it’s an odd combination but it works. They have 4 HUGE saltwater tanks that are well maintained and very amusing to watch. I watched a hermit crab crawl all over a sea anemone for 30 minutes. It was amazing. They also have a quirky patio with an upside Christmas tree as a “chandelier.”

really nice place. good cocktails. I often go here after blazer games for some reason. The decor is a little interesting and some how doesnt fit in with the neighborhood, but hey, change is good. I like this place because the crowd is always very diverse. In the NE, sometiems places can be overrun with hipsters, so anything that offers a bit different crowd is good.

Delicious, friendly, historic and quality service. An outstanding experience for 7 of us at 8 pm on a Saturday. Burgers cooked to perfection, pork belly slider and venison sloppy joes quality. Outstanding date/bacon/ chorizo appetizers as well as the scotch eggs and stuffed peppers. Solid beer selection and Old Style in cans. Really an exceptional night.

I love Moloko. The price of drinks has gone up a bit but we still stop in frequently to play bones on the back patio and drink tequila. The music is usually bumping and I always love to look at the salt water fish tanks. Very cool staff, decent food and a great spot to meet friends and dance (if youre down to dodge around in a small area!).

Fabulous marine fish tanks with friendly hosts.The cocktails were top notch and the share plates superb! Love that heated outdoor patio. A rare find for fish loving travelers in a trendy area. Healthy organic share plates were exciting with the bartender suggesting the perfect drink accompaniments. Will be back next time we are in Portland!

theres something very charming about a bar with foggy windows in the wintertime. add great house infusions and a really awesome covered patio to the mix and youve got the makings of a great bar. Add great soul/hiphop djs and 3 incredible saltwater fish tanks and youve got an incredible bar.

Great relaxed little space. The multiple salt water fish tanks lend a calming note to the appropriately dim indoor area (nothing worse than a brightly lit bar) and the patio is one of my favorites in the city. Great weekly and happy hour specials and a fantastic staff.

Best Screwdriver Ive ever had. Fresh squeezed OJ was what made it perfect. Two fish tanks for your viewing pleasure and the back patio is mos def one of the best in town. Great 60s era Eames furniture, really cool atmosphere. Havent tried any food as of yet.

Hipster paradise, of course I thought it was cool before anyone else. Joking, but seriously, the vibe is awesome. Salt water fish tanks surround a bar that makes strong drinks. Great place to pull up a seat, grab a drink, and watch the fish.
