Let me begin by saying that my wife and I are world travelers, so we have some exposure to foods other than whats prepared at home. Our opinion is that the food we had today, at the Mothers day brunch, was mediocre at best. The selection was fairly diverse, with lots of choices, but the flavors were average only. Additionally, the food was only warm, not hot. Likely the best item would be the blintzes. The roast beef was more like a giant pot roast than a good cut. There was a decent selection of salads and fruits. The sushi was sitting out too long so it became dry around the edges. Further, there was no soy or wasabi or ginger for the sushi. Shame! The large shrimp were still partly frozen! Very nice desert bar with lots of stuff to make you fat. The service was also mediocre. Our server seated us, asked if we wanted anything to drink. Brought our mimosa and didnt come back to see if we wanted coffee. Part way through the meal my wife asked for a knife to cut the large strawberries, and was brought a dirty knife. Yep, it had been used, not just poorly cleaned. Lastly, we were almost to our car when a boy asked if my wife had received her rose. When told no, he quickly ran off to get her one, only to bring one with the flower broken. He did apologize and replaced it. All of this wonderful experience for a mere $75 for two seniors! Heck, Country Buffet in Springfield Mall is better! Nope! Wont be back.

I had my wedding there. Everything was fine and dandy until the end. I was approached by the event planner in a VERY rude way saying I had more guests than I said I would. It was the end of my wedding day for goodness sake! Call me the next day, not as I am walking out the door! I was upset. We did our own head count and did find we were a few over, but some people did not stay for the reception. Anyhow my family in an effort to save the end of the day tried to talk with some of the staff and it didnt go anywhere. We were fine with working things out, it was the way we were approached and talked to about it. All in all it was a horrendous way to end all the planning and waiting and everything that you put into a wedding. The food was good, the alcohol servers were very nice and fun and the area is beautiful but I get a sour taste in my mouth if I thought about recommending it because of how the incident was handled in the end. Right now writing about it is upsetting me so I am going to stop.

To all the local brides beware of planning your event at the Coburg Country Inn... my mom was going to have my wedding this April. Now moving the venue to another location because they are not easy to work with and told me I couldnt move some of the fake hot pink flowers off the tables then got upset at me for wanting them moved so other stuff so we could put moms decor, also insulted my close as I was wearing a camo sweatshirt that day and told me needed to put on a girdddle and take out the small diamond nose ring I was wearing i was shocked at how freaking rude they are and mom just put down a $1,000.00 deposit one week ago and they have over a month to book a new venue but said they wont give us back our $1,000.00 deposit ...Who does this to people after being so rude umm what does he think going to happen. You can see the happy Easter and the fake flower in other places....

I had my wedding at the Country Inn and it could not have been any better! Fantastic food and service. Plenty of food for all of our guests and they even packed up the leftovers for us to go. We originally attended their Easter brunch and after having experienced the great food there we knew it was a top choice on our wedding location list. The gardens and gazebo where the ceremony was held was magical. I highly recommend the Country Inn My wife and I were thrilled.

Having attended two events at the Country Inn, I was disappointed in both. The place is lovely, however both times they ran out of food.Knowing how many were coming. Both events were buffet style which may have been part of the problem as we know some always take more then they need. They ran out of food for the wedding reception, and when the groom and bride went to get their meal there was nothing left.
