Nice but EXTREMELY expensive for WHAT it is.. Im a teacher so I got in free but families that have a few kids it would be costly. Also, Never , ever, ever, go on a weekends because its way to full and the people that go there are the rudest. I DONT know if its the heat that makes the people RUDE but its PATHETIC. We DIDNT get to see the planetarium because it was sold out so I suggest to get go early or just buy them on line. I gave it 3 stars because its nice for kids 10 and under. It has a lot of interactive activities for the kids so the parents can sit down and relax.

We brought my stepdaughter here to learn about the way that Laura Ingalls Wilder did things after reading the books. Volunteers dressed in period clothing will explain the methods used for cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, blacksmithing, carpentry and tin-type photography. Kids can use the laundry station and grind up corn among other things. This farm is not as big and well-funded as Ardenwood in Alameda, CA. but it is the best equivalent we have here in the Willamette Valley.

Great place to take kids and learn about the past. Very hands on. I have been three times with each of my kids on a school field trip and I never get tired of it and find something new each time.
