Last night was my first time attending Candy and I was very disappointed with the experience and customer service. Since their website was down at the time and their Facebook page had little info, I called the club ahead of time to get the details of the dress code. It was a red flag to me that they express such a strict dress code, but do not have it listed on even their Facebook page while their website was down. My partner and I were on the guest list and made it in without a problem, but it was very disconcerting to see the amount of discrimination at the door regarding dress code. The rules were enforced arbitrarily, which not only lowered the standard of service by the bouncers, but lowered the standards of what I expected to be a very classy club. Even as an onlooker, I was so disappointed by the bouncers attitude that I asked to speak with the manager and expressed my concerns. Seeing that kind of thing puts a bad taste in your mouth, even before you walk in the club. We ordered a drink, and I will say the attitude and service from my bartender was great. She was very positive and friendly, and served our drinks quickly. The music was fun, and the club filled up pretty quickly even at 10:45. But it did not take long for another disappointment to pop up, and that was cleanliness. The club opened at 10:00, and we arrived around 10:20. The dance floor and countertops near it felt sticky, only twenty minutes after the club had opened. For a club with a strict dress code, $20 cover if youre not on a list, and pricey drinks, that was really unacceptable. We did not stay long. In summary, the standards of this club really need to be improved upon if it wants to be seen as an exclusive club in OKC. Being more explicit and consistent about dress code standards would lessen the "door drama" (which is really a win for everybody), and an improvement on cleanliness is imperative.

Their webpage claims that customer service is a huge deal to them, but our experience there indicated otherwise. Waiting in line and watching the bouncer display great subjectivity while handling people in regards to the dress code should have been an indication that this was not going to be a very good night for the members of our party. If youre going to have a strict dress code, then you need to adhere to it and not let people bypass that based on their physical looks. Once inside, the presence of guards was outstanding. I understand the intent is to make sure there is enough staffing to regulate the club, but having too many definitely ruined the atmosphere. It was akin to having law enforcement officers watching you like a hawk the whole time, and who can have fun with that kind of environment? One of the members of our party was eventually kicked out of the club for being too drunk. No warning to tone it down or anything. Just out. The rest of us left on our own accord after discovering this fact. We paid good money with the intent of having a good evening, and Candy Nightclub failed as a business in fulfilling their claim of customer service being important to them.

Saturday night I went with two friends to celebrate a birthday. Around 1 am I went to retrieve my clutch purse when one of the bouncers told me to step outside and go through the ropes and then re-enter. Once I was outside, I was refused re-entry. I asked the bouncer at the door (Dylan) why I wasnt allowed back inside, to which he replied, "They dont tell me why. They just said you werent allowed back in." I asked him if he was certain I was the one not allowed re-entry, and he said yes. "Youre the one they pointed to." I was not drunk, loud, crude or belligerent however no one could tell me why I was to stay out. Besides being humiliating, it was UNSAFE. My two friends inside, while I (a single female, without back-up) stood outside and for NO REASON! I will not be back!

GREAT PLACE TO GO ESPECIALLY FOR WOMEN BUT THEY REALLY NEED TO DECIDED WHAT TYPE OF DRESS CODE THEY WANT TO ENFORCE.... FIRST TIME GOING I WAS WEARING ALDO SNEAKERS HAD NO PROBLEM GETTING IN....THE FOLLOW WEEK HAD THE SAME BRAND SNEAKERS DIFFERENT COLOR AND THE DOOR MAN CALLED THEM BASKETBALL SHOES... IM NOT GOING TO HOOP IN 200.00 SHOE BOSS...ONE GUY COULDNT GET IN BECAUSE THIS SHIRT WAS SO CALLED BAGGIE...HE WAS A BIG GUY YOU WOULD THINK THATS UNDERSTANDABLE.. NO GO... BUT THE DOOR MANS BUDDY IN A TANK TOP IS MORE THEN WELCOMED INSIDE....GET UR ACT TOGETHER....OTHER THEN THAT IF YOU HAPPEN TO GET IN...ITS A GREAT TIME FOR EVERYONE....

Not a fan of this nightclub. I believe they were going for an upscale feel, but the atmosphere wasnt at all what I expected. The music was uncomfortably loud, drinks were poorly made and overpriced, and the bartenders were squeezed into these little outfits that were obviously way too small for them. They also had this one chick dancing on the bar, who I assume was supposed to be a go-go dancer.. If I wanted to see that much extra fat and sweat, I wouldve hit up a local strip joint or a gym. Also way too packed. No decent looking ladies anywhere. Sorry, but this is just another crappy nightclub.

I have been there a few times but never again! They have good music and it seemed like a fun spot. HOWEVER, I was there last night for less than 15 minutes and three fights broke down. I got ran over by one of the bodyguards trying to break down one of the fights and we had to tell one of the employees there that there was blood on the dance floor. Unacceptable! People outside getting arrested...it was ridiculous! I would never go back there again. Definitely NOT A SAFE place to be at and NOT classy at all. I paid $10 to get it and should have gotten a refund for this horrible experience.

i wanted to tab out, the bar tender tabbed me out, and I signed the receipt for $17.00 at 1:00 am. Then I left candys there after. Later closer to 2:00 I had another $20 pulled out of my account in a separate transaction. bar tender or the establishment, stole from me... recommend using cash only...

I have been looking for some places to go and have a drink with a nice crowd and good music and this was it! Being that i"m from Detroit,MI. I like to party but it seems like i cant find anything that remotely reminds me of back home but CANDY HT THE SPOT!
