So, initially 4 stars but now to 5 stars as Im a regular customer and the people are great. Love the store and the atmosphere. Everyone is knowledgeable and is not afraid to ask someone else if they dont know something which is embarrassingly rare! My Aquarium is now a month old and everything is thriving thanks to the ladies at Wet Pets. Previous post. New to Saltwater Aquariums, I walk in Sunday and bought a reef ready aquarium and furniture stand. There are some details but Ill spare you those and tell you that I wasnt happy with my initial visit. Today, my wife went to pick up the tank. This experience was entirely different! We found out that we were working with someone very new trying impress the boss with a new sale. I dont fault him for that now that I know the situation. But this review is not about that. Its about the way Steve and Team fixed it! With genuine remorse for our initial experience he didnt just give us stuff to fix it. What he really did was better. They worked with my wife with understanding and expert knowledge. When she left, she understood what we needed and what we had bought. In addition, she left with a quote and an explanation of everything on there and options for directions we could go with our new aquatic adventure. We are a customer for the future and look forward to expanding our knowledge and our enjoyment with the team of professionals at Wet Pets by Steve. Sign me... Thats Impressive! PS: I look forward to 5 Stars of future reviews.

Amazing store. Very helpful with any questions and they remember who you are even if it is your second or third time there. They are very knowledgeable in all things fish and ask to make sure that the aquarium your newly bought fish or plant is prepared for them. Amazing prices and high quality fish. They carry fish year round that most chain stores can barely get ahold of seasonally (Cardinal Tetra for example). Plants are priced very well and are in good health, just watch out for snails if you dont want them. Snails are a good sign of growth and clean up your tank well though. Products are very well priced and they stock many more chemicals and additives than most stores I have been to, which can be helpful if a fish is sick with a unique illness or your tank isnt cycling properly. If you are having any sort of problem with your tank, make sure to bring a water sample and talk to them, they are sure to help. Overall, amazing place to buy things for fish and very friendly staff to help you along. My experience is in Topical Freshwater Community and Betta and have had everything I need to help my tanks flourish and thrive.

It is true. This store has a great selection and is immaculate. The staff are knowledgeable on a variety of aquaria related questions and always seem to be happy to answer. I had an issue with somehing and the owner handled it personally. Instead of treating me poorly as he knew I had written a review on Google, and could of just dismissed me, he decided to talk to me about. I was so impressed by this that I decided that this business would always be my go to for aqurium related purchases. I can honestly say through my own research this is the best business suited for this type of hobby. If you are going to get into this hobby this is the place for you. Prices are comparable or better than big box retailer (including Walmart) and you get the benefit of enthusiasts who love the hobby! Dont waste your time and money going anywhere else.

I will start by saying that the attentiveness off the staff and the cleanliness of the store is fantastic - friendly and engaging. The quality of the tanks and fish is fantastic. They have several awesome displays that really draw you in. Unfortunately, I am a coral fanatic and the quality of their coral is pretty bad; limited in diversity and health, with several corals mislabeled (understandable, given they focus on fish). The sad part is that as a customer, I would never be able purchase anything from their store. Everything in the store (fish, corals, dry goods, tanks) is marked up 20-30% higher than any store I have walked in to (15+ stores). Overall, the cleanliness, quality and friendliness of the staff make Wet Pets by Steve in Norman a fantastic place to spend some time looking around, but I could never be a paying customer.

This is the cleanest best managed fish store in Oklahoma period.I have purchased over $2000.00 in equipment and fish in the last year. The staff are very knowledgeable and always eager to help. I have Cichlids and you must know what is compatible. I have been told not to buy certain fish because they might not be compatible. They have equipment and items that are not carried by the big box stores. They definitely have more service and correct knowledge than the box stores. They are priced very comparable to the box stores, but even if they were not, I would be willing to pay a little more for service and getting the right product. Wet Pets by Steve (and Paula) is a class act!!!!

Overall i love this petshop. Could use a little bit more variety in the freshwatwr tanks as well as live plants. Some workers are knowledgeable about the different plants while others could use improvement. I do recommend going in finding the plants and or fish you like, go home and research them. I recently bought purple waffle from here with the underatanding of it being a fully submerged plant when it really isnt. Furthering my care research lead me to read about how its a land plant and how big companies cut stems off and sell them to pet shops as fully submerged aquatic plants. Overall i love coming here and looking at all the reef selection!

Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If they dont have what you want in store they can usually order it. They also have a supplier who will build custom tanks upon request. I didnt use this service and built the tank myself and actually paid more doing it myself then the price they quoted me. They also have a great selection of aquatic plants at decent prices. Plus they have so many different fish species available. That I was more impressed with just visiting the store and looking at Wet Pets fish then I was when I visited the overpriced Jenks Aquarium that lacked in diversity. Wet Pets is a great store.

I have been to this store 5 times and every time I go I do what I do at every fish store I am considering buying fish from, I find the sickest fish on the brink of death and ask if they will sell it to me. So far they are 55 of trying to sell me a dead fish. Last time it was a 80+ dollar fish that was days away from death. The young man said "sure, want me to get him for you". That is when I left...I will never go back to this store again. Atleast Deathco will say "no you dont want that one, he dont have much longer to live".

This place means business. Staff is ridiculously knowledgeable & will patiently take you step-by-step through the process of getting the right aquarium & fish for you. They have an extensive selection of aquariums, fish, accessories, supplies, etc. Sure, prices are slightly higher than most big-box pet stores. The customer service makes it absolutely worth it. Even if you are just coming in to browse & smile at the fish the staff is always welcoming & willing to answer questions.
