We had an 11:15 tee time & followed a threesome ahead of us. We only waited one time for them & play through 8 holes was 1hr 45 min. We came to 9th hole par 3 & a twosome chose to start there. Each one hit 3 balls off the tee; none of which came close to the green. We waited & they took about 10 minutes to gather their balls & attempted unsuccessfully to chip onto the green. One of the group hit into the trap & took 6 shots to get out. 20 minutes passed & they still had not even looked at their putts. This hole is next to the clubhouse & we went in to confirm that they were in fact going to be in front of us on the back 9. The pro advised us that they play there regularly & that is what they allow them to do. Needless to say we were shocked that a course would allow anyone to start on any hole they wanted & to hit as many shots as they chose. Ive been playing golf over 40 years & in all that time have never run into any situation even close to this. We had paid for 18 holes & cart which was $ 25.00. We asked for a refund of which we were given $ 6.00 apiece. Therefore it cost $19.00 to play 8 holes & managements attitude was this is the way they manage their course. They offered no apology or werent even sympathetic to the situation they created. In the past we have played there 8 - 10 times a year. That is only $ 1,000.00 but we will never darken their doorstep again & will make sure everyone we know is aware of this management style.

Beautiful course, especially in Autumn. My Father and brother and I golf once or twice a year for fun as we shoot bogey or double bogey golf. This was the perfect course for us with wide open fairways and forgiving layout. I also like being rewarded and not penalized for long drives and this course is satisfying. Most of the greens are big and level. The club house is nice and we did not feel rushed.

Excellent condition and track. Walkable, though the back nine is hilly. Most golfers get the cart. Strict no cooler policy. Hot food made to order (burgers, hot dogs and etc. Delicious ham egg and cheese) and beverages available at the clubhouse. Very small pro shop. Discount for Vandalia residents and employees. I have played golf all over the Dayton area. This is my go-to course.

Our church always has their golf outtings here. This is an awesome well kept golf course with an excellent staff. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area who hasnt played or is looking for a place to have a group outting.

Beautiful course and well maintained. There was no cart service on a Saturday. That was frustrating, but its a wonderful place to play.

Well kept course and reasonable pricing. Starting you off on 1 and 10 with a par 5 is rough, but all around a good course.
