Stayed here Aug 4-6, 2014. Got a great deal on the 3 nights on Expedia for $217.00 USD. This is NOT a quality place in terms of real quality or like other Quality Inns are. I can see why the wide range of reviews are here and on Trip Advisor. The wing we stayed in, yes the carpet is old and needs to be replaced for sure. Its not nice looking and the carpet in the lobby is worse. The wing where friends of ours stayed had much better carpets. Breakfast was good. No complaints there. Staff good. Hair dryer did not work, only found that out on check out day. Water park is fun but kids need to be 42" tall for the big slides. There is no small slides for small kiddies, but the outdoor pool is nice for them. As a person who has stayed in worse and is comfortable camping and roughing it, I would say this is a 2 star hotel and dropping. If they can renovate the rooms and carpets it should be 2.5-3 star. I will give it a 3 star as its ok due to the good breakfast and extra water park and we got a deal. I would not spend $100 a night here if you do not have kids and do not bowl, laser tag, or bet on Ponies. If you want Quality, check into Castaway Bay next door. Its over $200.00 a night though. :/ . In short if you plan to be at Cedar Point and ride all day or Soak City til close, you wont get use of this hotels extra features. We were too tired the 1st 2 nights. My next visit wont be staying here I will stay up hwy 250 somewhere closer to shopping and restaurants.

OMG this hotel should be shut down, it was terrible, the shower/ bathroom smelled like gasoline the whole 3 days i was there, I informed the staff the second day early about it and they wrote it down, but did nothing, there shower head was broken also and no water pressure, the vent above the shower was full of caked on dust which had not been cleaned in a year or more. The pool looks like a jacuzzi size pool not a regular pool, was full of kids , water was green and slimmy, spider webs all over the gate to the pool, indoor water park for small kids water again nasty dirty. Fruit flys galore inside the thirsty pony cafe bar in the hotel. I would not eat there. I purchase 2 glasses of pop from there to go outside with, bar tender said no caps for the pop, i was like ok, then charged me 350 a glass this looked like a 14 oz glass of fountain pop saying these are suveneer cups. terrible. next the continental breakfast area is upstairs looked like a good varity of food, but was eating and felt something crawing on my hand ,after slaping what ever was on my hand looked and did not see anything, later noticed ants crawling around food areas where they have the buffet or food sick....also this hotel charged like 160.00 a night. I will never stay there again. thanks please do not waste your time there.

My family has stayed at other water park resorts in this area so we decided to try Rain. Let me tell you the water park is a lot smaller, but its also a lot less busy so my kids could literally just walk right on both slides. There is also a bowling alley and laser tag right nearby. My kids tired of the water park after about an hour but laser tag and bowling and the arcade kept their attention for a lot longer. It was nice having the bar/restaurant on the property so I didnt have to worry about driving after having an adult beverage or two. The staff here was extremely kind; they gave me free aspirin when I had a headache, suggested I could save $12 when I bought my Cedar Point tickets online and let me use their printer and didnt charge me to print the tickets out. This is a hotel that obviously cares about its guests, unlike other hotels that seem more like cattle slaughterhouses.

This Place is getting a bad rap all the way around from what we can see. we read all the online reviews before going and nearly canceled our trip. But the kids wanted to go, so we went. Have to say its not the best place weve ever been but its above average. The kids loved it, they had a great time in the water, even though they have no real pool. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and service was top notch. Only thing Id caution you about is the Restur. its a bit expensive and the surrounding area has many places to choose from. Theres a Pizza joint just down the road, local place, its Great! Dont miss it. Overall we enjoy our stay and would return. I reget those who had a bad experience, but maybe they were expecting more. This is no FIve star restort, but its fun.

We stayed one night and it was so bad. It was so dirty and gross! It smelled like old cigarette smoke. I would not allow my children to take a bath while we were there because the place creeped me out with how dirty it was. The waterpark is so bad and small! The water is cold and the lifegaurds do not watch the children. I witnessed three male lifeguards talk the entire time and NEVER watched the children come down the waterslide. This went on for at least a half hour (until we left). The hot tub had a sign for a capacity of 13 people. My husband counted 27 at one time. No one said anything. There were probably 7 adults and 20 kids in there. No parents around. It was such bad place. We will never go back!

We came to the Quality Inn early in the morning after checking out of a horrible hotel across the street that should be razed. I walked up to the guy working the desk and asked when we could check-in since we were going to Cedar Point. The young man said "how about right now?" I really appreciated his enthusiasm. The room was great, the bedroom and bathroom were both spotless! The entire staff was incredible! They have worked hard to make the hotel look amazing and they are soooooo nice! The outdoor pool and Rain park were great bonuses and the price was a bargain considering these included amenities! I will definitely recommend this hotel to all of my friends and family; and I will stay there again!

My room was very clean, my sheets smelled fresh, the air conditioner worked VERY well and I got a very relaxing night of sleep. The water park and outdoor pool looked nice but I didnt utilize them. Everyone I dealt with was nice and seemed like they wanted to be there. The food at their restaurant was simple American fare, but the portions were very filling. For the first time in a long time I had to take a doggy bag home with me. I really loved the Taco Bowl. It was glitter glow bowling and an all you can eat taco bar. I bowled at 156, thats the highest Ive ever scored (sad huh?) and the girl named Janel was kind enough to get my score printed out so I could take it home with me.
